Really like the idea of this game where you can build the layout each run. Upgrading abilities and getting new items was a good way to add some variation to each run as well.
I did wish there was a retry/restart button that would end a run as I sometimes got stuck and my jump wouldn't be upgraded enough to get out, but the game itself is really impressive, especially for a jam prject made in 2 weeks.
Great job!👍
If you hold down backspace it will drain your battery, allowing you to restart
Good idea, I didn't realize this. Maybe you should put it in the controls on the Itch page in case anyone else has the same issue.
Probably. There's a header at the start of new run that tells you. But it fades after a couple seconds, so I can see how someone could get stuck
Cool game with a interesting concept. I like the incremental upgrades, its a bit grindy but still quite enjoyable. Pixel art and game polish is really well done!
Honestly, it’s the best game I’ve played so far in this jam. Building your own level is a great idea for this type of game. Good job!!!
It’s amazing—one of my favorites so far. I couldn’t stop until I completed it. The art is very good; the only thing is that some platforms blended into the background at times.
You can tell there are more ideas that didn’t make it in, but it’s great.
Great job.
Cool game brother i really like the idea and the style its really cool can you rate my game as well ❤️
Really fun game. Love the art.
Great game! Loved the art and music, and the gameplay is very fun
What a great game! I enjoyed feeling powerful after a couple runs. Great job!
Really great game! Unique way to integrate the theme and the battery system. Would have been better if there was some more information about the upgrades. Overall, pretty fun!
Really cool idea. Rough start but opens up quickly. Took me a while to understand the hacking part that it is similar to Dungeer once that clicked, was pretty straightforward. Visuals are pretty cool and overall fun. Well done!
One of my favourites so far! Really enjoyed the level building and I was determined to get to the end! Could easily see this being a full release with more tiles, obstacles mechanics/abilities! Great work!
Really enjoyed it, did not know 5hrpr added fail splash screens, so that was a pleasant surprise. Really does wonders for the vibe and theme of the world.
The map building and planning around it was fun, though there were situations where the map pieces never lined up, so that didn't feel great to not be able to do anything for that run. Good job putting this together.
This was really fun! It was very creative how you incorporated the hacking and map building! I can easily spend a few hours playing this.
Super creative to get to build the route to get across as you go! Only minor gripe is that some of the blocks kind of blend into the background and aren't super obvious on first glance but very polished!
I really like the art! So original idea! Good job!
I’m really bad at platformer games and I’m not exactly a fan of roguelikes, but even so, the game is very addictive and fun.
wooooooooow I have never seen a rouglite platformer before especially in a game jam setting. your take on the theme is a really unique one and so is the gameplay. I loved feeling like my robot was getting faster and stronger and I enjoyed using the hack mechanic, I felt like I was breaking into something. Great game absolutely loved it.
Check out JANTA-9 if you get the chance, maybe you'll love it just as much as I loved yours
Great take on the roguelike mechanic! Loved the concept of invincibility where you don’t die, just your battery runs out! Great work!
Cool concept!
