These MUDs will be the end of me X3
I wish I had the option to choose my partner as a lady-friend :3
You can change the gender of the partner, although maybe it wasn't obvious enough or maybe you're not referring to that. Either way, thank you for the feedback and hope you enjoyed the story ^w^
The ability to change a few variables at the start of the game was interesting. I think the art would have been more interesting if it was related to the scenes in the story. If this was structured more like an Adventure Book (the ones where you roll dice and flick to different pages) honestly this could fit a nice niche, but even as it is, this is the game that best fits the Jam's theme out of what I've played. So gratz on that :)
Thanks for the feedback and kind words. The game may be more linear than other adventure books, if that's what you're referring to, I can see the problem and I'll take it into account if I ever continue with the game. For the art, I only had time to do some for the different endings, so I'll also try to add more for other scenes.
Overall, the concept is interesting. This game reminded me of a Kobold project, where you also make decisions and move through the story. It has great potential, but right now it's a bit thin and doesn't have a lot of mechanics (just actions and choices).
If we added some D&D details like items, health, and so on... the game would be super cool! Although, maybe you can come up with something better.
I wish you nothing but success and will be keeping an eye on the updates!
I think I've played the kobold game you talk about, I agree that the scenes should be longer and I'll keep in mind adding some sort of mechanic to it.
