Really cool game! I like the art and the concept. Although I found it difficult to control the character.
I'm glad you liked it! My goal was to get character movement to be difficult while not too frustrating, and it'd definitely be a good next step to try to strike that balance.
love the pixel art. solid mechanics. very solid entry, good job!
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I feel like crying, it was so hard. But I still enjoyed it. (This is random, but for some reason the black dog kind of reminds me of Anubis.) The art style was also really beautiful
If you don’t mind, could you try our game?
I'm glad you enjoyed it even if it was difficult! The black dog enemy is actually called Anubis internally, so you're right about that. I tried out your game and thought it was great!
I'm so glad you liked it. And thank you so much for trying it.
I really loved this game! Everything from the presentation to the mechanics was really well implemented and done! I also like the replayability it has through making different weapon combinations (I did 2 full runs of the game). I liked how every fight had different enemy mechanics that were all very different. The one point of criticism I have is that the sword goes a little fast around the player, and even though you can slow down time, I always find myself slowing down time right when I want to lunge, making me not be able to lunge in that direction. Outside of that, this is easily the best game I have played thus far, and I do think this has a good shot at winning the game jam! Amazing work!
Thank you so much, I'm glad you liked it! The sword's speed was definitely something I was still playing around with, and will definitely try to perfect it if I work on it for longer. I appreciate the feedback!
I didn't understood how to play :'(
maybe you could add instruction panel, the game design are goo tho
Thanks for playing! There's a button right below the play button on the main menu that will show an instruction panel.
