Hi there! Indeed your scope was really high ! Bummer for the 3D artist, hope they recovered well.

At least you managed to submit your game which is great !From my experience (I really suck at 2D art..), when you don't have assets or time, sometimes it's better to stick with simple shapes, flat colors and a cool font, without needing any sprites !

I ran out of ammo pretty fast during the wave and could not find how to use the big sword on my back. I suck at shooters, I wanted to rely on that to slice them up ! Anyway, cool concept, good job guys !

Beardmage, thank you so much for your feedback! And sorry for the late reply, we have all been super busy with school haha. But yes, the sword! It's kind of an easter egg - we wanted to include it as a sorta teaser for a mechanic we want to add to the game, kind of an ultimate ability sort of deal. And don't worry, I suck at shooters too.

You are super right about the scope as well! We totally went big on this one, and didn't get to see it to fruition like we hoped, but its a learning process for us all right? haha. We hadn't done a jam more than about 48 hours long before, so we thought we would be able to get it doneeee - but of course we all squirreled till the last 2 days haha.

T his game deffo has potential all ill say is it would definitely benefit from some more art for the page and some more models in the game itself, still good job on doing so much before the deadline and wish you the best in the jam!

Solaryn Studios,

Thank you!! We really had to work around some barriers because our 3D artist fell sick this last week and was unable to get us more assets, so i spent about 12 hours yesterday making a bunch on Blender (it was my first time making 3D stuff that wasn't super simple stuff for 3D printing haha). We are hoping to eventually turn E-Vincible into an RPG open world style game - think Assassins Creed style story arch meets Vein open world zombie gameplay - but we know we had to massively scope down for this jam :). As for the art, we don't have a 2D or graphics artist yet, so I just leverage my Canva haha. But, we are super appreciative of your feedback! If you have a game submitted let us know so we can go check it out!
