- Good concept, was quite tough with all the battles and no healing. Still enjoyed what I saw!
- Better healing system and progress pacing would be good to look into for this game.

I really like the art and making the ATB system is very neat! I just wish there was a way to heal.
Oh also, maybe you should mention in the description that you can escape battles by holding ESC, makes the game way less punishing and I don't think I would have been able to beat it if not for that.
Yes thank you! I'll definitely add that to the description. There's actually a secret final boss right after the one you fought. It's to the north-west if you're up for it. A lot of the missing features like no healing moves are just that I ran out of time. I wasn't able to flesh out the move sets as much as I wanted. Thank you for playing!

haha thanks! I had to switch engines half way through so I ran low on time. I really wanted to add sound as well!
I died once and the game reset to the very beginning which seems unfortunate. Checkpoints would be great because I don't wanna repeat the first 10 minutes again, especially when combat is kinda difficult.
P.S. That's a cute cat!
I recommend you to save the game to prevent this. You can save the game after leaving the portal area! I'd also recommend fighting the hairballs in the over world to level up a bit. Each level up also heals you back to full health. Thank you for playing!
You can't save the game in the forest area
it's not the forest area it's the grassy place before the forest area. The forest is meant as more of a dungeon type area. Sorry for the confusion.
