I don’t know why but I can’t play the game. The visuals in the screenshots looks good though, and it looked interesting!

I wish I could play the game. I was getting errors on the web browser play and with the download. I love the art style from the screenshots etc. Commenting to come back to it and rate it later.
The level layout is quite impressive!
If you die, having to restart the entire intro cutscene is painful (it's very cool to see the first time tho)
Sometimes the start game button doesn't function after you die once.
The scientist guys are a bit bullet spongey, so decreasing their hitpoints or increasing the damage from your guns would help.
For the minigames, having the color flashing puzzle flash more quickly would be appreciated. Also, maybe decrease the length of the code that you need to type
We have the initial code written for respawning and checkpoints, but it was causing various issues so we had to disable it last minute before submission. I'm also aware of the start button not working quite right sometimes, and it ties into the same issue so I'm hoping that once we fix one of the problems the other will also be resolved. I definitely want to get that working because I agree very much. I am so sick of watching the cutscene even though I love how we did it, and there will be a skip button for that.
I also really appreciate your feedback about the combat, we will make them take a bit more damage or reduce their health, I think it would also possibly be fun to make headshots an instakill so we might consider implementing that too. We will keep in mind your comments about the minigames as well but we also want them to cause a bit of unease a take a bit since you can be caught while doing them, but if it isn't fun we will look into how to maybe make it feel a bit better.
Thank you so much for the honest feedback, it really helps us to know where we might have pain points that can be improved in the game and we appreciate it.
Really cool visual style and atmosphere with some funny personality. A bit more guidance would help the idea continue
The art of this game is really really cool! love the premise and was fun too! nice game! Good luck in the rest of the jam!
YOOOOOO I really like the visual art of this game. I also like the funny bits you added. It adds so much more personality to your game, like the dialogue for it being the end of their shift, and Alohamora was funny as heck. I also think it was really smart for you to edit and manipulate the visuals for certain text in the dialogue to change the tone we read it in. One small thing, maybe it was just be but I didn't know 404 was me until my second run, which made the dialogue make more sense and was more funny once I figured that out. Also when 404 pushes the glass in the next scene it cuts too it isn't obvious that the glass is gone it kinda looks like the glass might still be there. Maybe showing the glass on the floor or haing the glass shattered could help. Also in the beginning, when it shows the terminal type text the screen moves too fast for the text at one point and I only see black while I wait for the text to catch up. Also, maybe having the player be in charge of when the dialogue continues could help, because for me at least, I didn't finish reading the first part once it continued automatically. Also, the download didn't work for me (I think you only uploaded the .exe file instead of the full file for the build, the .exe won't run on it's own it needs everything else in the file to run). Good game! I enjoyed playing!
I really liked that pixel art effect, they did a great job, congratulations!
Your artstyle is very unique and interesting. Overall very cool game!
The art style and polish are incredibly well done. I really enjoyed the narrative, but would've loved a bit more guidance, especially at the beginning. Amazing work nonetheless!
Your game is very beautiful, I like its art, I like this style, the characters with styles different from the scenery, congratulations
