I remember keeping up with the development of this game, I'm glad it turned out so well, great job. I'd love to hear what you think about JANTA-9
This is a nice Punch Out like game. The theming is very nice, and it's funny how we defeat the Grim Reaper with boxing. All the attacks are telegraphed well, and the difficulty is just right. I would've liked animations for dodging. Great job!
A cool take on the punch-out genre! A nice proof of concept of the game. A bit short but enough to get the game mechanics across. Also good job on the sprite work. A nice retro feel without coming across as low effort or low fidelity.
Some feedback:
- Some more visual FX and juicy feedback on actions would definitely help greatly on this type of game. When the player punches or gets a successful dodge, it should feel super rewarding.
- Maybe some combo modifiers for consecutive punches and dodges would make the game even more engaging.
I also like the music track you made/chose for the game. Fits the vibe nicely. Good job on the game!

I noticed this game in the discord chat early in the jam and really wanted to play it, great job! One of my first games i made was a punch out style game too and you did a great job. Love the artwork and theming too

Such a great game! I really love the idea of punchout but with the grim reaper as the opponent lol!
Having monetization turned on on a Jam-game is a bit silly and a huge red flag, you could have at least waited until the Jam itself is over before enabling that
Also, movement in this game is a bit too stiff, something you don't want in a game like this where timing with avoiding attacks matters. Also, this game is very short, and very simple. It is a neat idea, and a unique idea at that. Also very creative take on the Jam's theme, and there should be more PunchOut-like games out there. But this leaves plenty to be desired
Also x2: A game as simple as this should 100% be playable in a browser
