This game has a very unique 2.5D perspective. Loved the whole art style as well as the overall concept of the game. Great work!
I liked the game; it has a really good reference to Dorian Gray, and the portrait was brilliant. I played it on Windows, and after a while, it froze.
By the way, I think the mechanics are very creative.
Good luck at the jam!
What a great endurance game! I loved the aesthetics, although it took me a second to realize I could move in a 3D space and not just left and right. I loved the mechanic of your companions reviving you, it's a nice take on the invincible theme. Great job!
Rate your game. I had fun playing it. I'll leave mine here for you to play and rate when you have a chance.
This game has interesting visual-style, and the music's good (even if not your own so minus-points for that). And the premise is very interesting, and it unintentionally made me laugh out loud by just how silly it is
This game should have had a pause-menu or some other way to kill the game without having to Alt + F4, and the game lags at first in the downloadable version, and the slowdown in the browser version makes the game unplayable that way
All said, really cool game! Could use some optimization. And the novelty of the game kinda wears off fast, but amazing attempt. Well done ^_^
Thanks for this complete feedback. This is all valid criticism.
I always hesitate to put music because I like games where all assets are made "from scratch" but my music skills are way too low, and the game was already repetitive enough ! As for the tone of the game: from the start I didn't know if I wanted it dramatic or comedic. I just let the fate decide, if you had a good laugh then that's fine, let's call it a comedy game !
I'll think about optimization if I continue iterating on this project, for know I don't know Godot enough. But it is a good case study.
I'm glad you liked the premise since that was my main focus. Thank you again !
Absolutely, no problem friend ~
Adding a new partner who can fight alongside you and also serve as an extra life for the player is a great idea. And the visuals are really good too~
