“Backstory”

Great game! I loved the visuals and art style, it looks really good. The gameplay concept was also very unique. I don’t think I’ve seen anything quite like it before.

I didn’t get the location correct, but I gave it my best shot!

Great work! I think this is one of the better entries in this jam that I’ve played for sure!

This is exactly what a jam game should be, straight to the point with an innovative mechanic, it is a very immersive experience that has lasted exactly as long as it had to last

wowww the art and shader are insanely beautiful and also you did it on godot?! would love to see a devlog of this!! I really like how clean the game looks and the way you deal with lighting (the lighter with fire) on godot!! also, really cute godot icon and background when loading - great work!

Very unique concept! Enjoy the art style and the unique control. Simple to understand once you understand the idea. Good stuff!

this is the MOST unique game i have ever rated on this jam (till now), i love the animation when u mess up the controls for the lighter, and yea
But i dont like 1 thing, that is, the killer opened the trunk after a long gap, i thought my window froze, so yea
Good Job

Developer

Thank you so much for the kind words! In that gap you mentioned, there's a whole story being told through the sounds about what's happening. It might go unnoticed if you're not using headphones or the volume is low, but we aimed to create that tension for the final moment by making you feel vulnerable in a certain way. In any case, thank you so much for playing it and for the feedback! :)
