Card images would have added a bit (jam game I know), once I worked out just how the combat was working it became fun for me. Trying to one hit KO an enemy!

Nice intro, liked where this was going and the music too, but new game just gives me a black screen?

Thanks! Yea unfortunately this can happen on firefox and probably some other browsers, something to do with how color format is handled or something. Feel free to try it on a different browser tho :)

Excellent deck builder. It's a nice twist that the cards are fixed, but the numbers are actually random. Hope you continue working on this game after the jam.

As an improvement: a (mini)map would be nice to help orient where I am/already went.

"After a short few attempts, I reached the demon lord at the bottom of the casino."

My final deck was Punch, Ace, Block, Heavy Blow, Hearth and Even Footing. It's not miles away from a deck which couldn't win yet couldn't lose against the final boss yet it's very low on damage so that's on me and I don't think it's common, I think the boss like the other enemies are well balanced.

The first time at some point an area didn't load and I could (and probably would have to) walk into the void behind a door so I restarted and didn't mash the buttons as much and it went smoothly this time.

It was super fun! The music is great, the intro and ending sequences are great, the environment looks great, the enemies look great, perspective and movement are perfect. The combat system works well, it's at least a bit unique, the lethality for both sides is on point and the rosters of cards and enemies are pretty good for a jam.

Extremely fun game! Loved everything pretty much. Only thing I'd love to see changed is that the doors that are inaccessible just wouldn't be there, cuz having to ram myself into 10 closed doors in a row did feel a bit frustrating.

LOVED the combat, and how you assign numbers to different things :). The art-style was great, and overall just a really fun game.

Nice game!

Took me awhile to beat it though 1h50m, but it was worth it. I would like a dungeon crawler to have some more action in the crawling part, or else it might feel like a cardgame "hidden" within. That said I really enjoyed the game, and didn't realize I spent almost two hours playing it. Its interesting how you figure things out as you go and build up a strategy on how to deal with the combat.

Thank you!

Critcism first, I think the theme was a little bit tacked on here and I did not like, that most doors closed, as it is a little bit frustration, having to bump against so many doors, just to see, that they are closed off. But everything else was mighty fine. The controls and movement felt very smooth and the graphics had a very unique artstyle and I liked the color choices. The battle system worked very well. Only thing here was, that I sometimes had to battle foes through a door and could not really see them through the door frame. Nice one :)

I like card battlers and it was a cool concept. Being able to assign the numbers to the cards was a great way to add some randomness to them. I also really enjoyed the music, it fit the casino vibe. Opening doors or running into walls really hurt my eyes though so I'd just close my eyes before moving into doors. There'd be a bright flash when you walk into something. I should also comment that it didn't work in Firefox for me but it did in Edge.
