This game's incredible under many aspects! Graphics, sfx and music selection, game design, main gimmick, you name it.
Definitely a top contender!
You weren't kidding, this game is hard as ballds! What a level to end on, you must be a hardcore gamer to be able to design and beat the levels, very fun game!
pretty neat game! love the general aesthetic. the core mechanic is cool and I could see it going a lot of different places, only wish there was more to mess around with. norwegian mode is some sicko shit though holy moly

Glad you liked it! Not gonna lie, the Norwegian Mode levels were planned as an unlock for beating all of the main levels and getting really familiar with them, so they ended up being a REALLY sharp increase in difficulty, especially that first level lol
For Norway level 1, I intended for you to throw your head over the first set of spikes, re-catch it in mid-air to go over the second set, then either double jump or land on the little lip to the side of the spikes to throw it over the ramp. From there, you can either throw it from the ramp directly into the hoop, or set up for a slam dunk. Norway level 2 is significantly more straightforward, so I’ll leave that one up to you ;P
does the game game save? not sure if i can go through the first three levels again every time i wanna take a crack at norwegian mode, but when i played again all the levels were locked
I unfortunately didn’t have the time to make level saves, but you only need to beat the first level to unlock Norwegian mode in this build ^^

Awesome concept, I'm far too stupid to even get past the third jump in norway mode let alone beat it but the normal levels were fun. Shame you didn't have time to finish more of because it's such a flexible idea and i imagine the skill ceiling for a game like this would be absolutely nuts. Story was great

This is INCREDIBLE actually. Hilarious intro, 10/10 sound effect choice, 10/10 game-feel... Yeah, this is peak gaming. Norwegian mode is a complete nightmare that gave me kaizo mario vibes, but I'm sure true gamers will love it.
Also, you should add screenshots to your game page! Not doing so hurts The Algorithm(tm) and makes less people play your game.
That said, I didn't finish the game because I think I'm stuck on level 4 (the one with the 3 circles that catch your head). Every time I press the button it just plays a CRASH sfx and the level becomes empty. Maybe I'm really dumb but I don't know how to get past it.

You actually reached the end of the normal levels! There's supposed to be a text box that basically says "this is all I was able to get done in time, here's a mechanic I couldn't build a level around lol", but I guess it didn't show up in your build of the game for some reason? I'm on a Windows computer, so maybe there's something about Arial text on Linux that I'm not aware of xD
Aaaahhhhhhh, it might be a missing font or something. Either way, I'd love more levels in a future update!
Played the game through proton, seems fine, however running through wine usually doesn't show text in most games I tried. Oh also I didn't manage to turn on the linux version lol.
This game is so much fun omg! It feels, looks and plays really nice! I really hope you'll make more levels for this in the future!!
