I love the art style, how were you able to get the 2.5D effect? I didn't fully understand the gameplay loop itself, but the game itself is very charming, well done!

Developer

Thanks! We spend a lot of time of the art, music and puzzels, but got in a time squize with integration. 😅

The 2.5d effect is made by using a 3d scene with a 'normal' 2d groud texture. Everyone you can walk around is just a 2d Sprite standing upright with an offset of 20 degrees to let it point to the camera. For the Shadows we added a sphere to every object that only casts Shadows.

It doesn’t seem to work. The game starts with an empty default scene.

I dont know if Im too dumb but I cant figure out where to get the third item ðŸ˜ I thought Mara would give me a hint but she didnt talk at all and it took me a bit to figure out that I had to talk to grandma. I tried stealing her basket (lol) but that didnt work.
Overall its a lovely game with really cute art, I really love the 2.5 D pixel art style!! I like how every area has a different music track as well! The movement of the character is at a good speed as well so it felt really nice just walking around exploring the area :D

Good cozy game here, I am incredibly impressed with the 2.5D aspect. The exploration with the progression really made it stand out here. The music transition was a was also a cherry on top. Good job here!
