THE VOICELINES FOR THE KILLER WERE AMAZING 😭😭😭I had a hard time locating keys but thats just skill issue :/ overall this is a really great game and also the flash to stun the killer mechanic was a really great idea!!! Great job!! 🩷🩷🩷

Also I would really appreciate if you played my game too!! thankyou 🩷

Played on stream and we had a blast taking pictures and uncovering the next locked door! Thanks for submitting, all the best!

Developer

Thank you so much for playing. It’s a shame I couldn’t be there for the livestream (power issues in my town XD), but I’m glad you were able to escape. I think I should have added a clue or something to make it clear that you could already leave the house XD.

First of all, I really liked that the voice lines were self recorded. That adds a lot of personality to the game. However, after a while it unintentionally became a bit funny, especially when the killer repeatedly says lines like ā€œWhere are you, little one?ā€ or ā€œchackalackalaā€ over and over again.

Speaking of the AI, it was quite easy to exploit and trap, which reduced the overall tension.

Despite that, I wasn’t able to finish the game. I got stuck because I didn’t understand what to do with the number code on the wall. I played for about 30 minutes but never figured out what the actual objective was.

Escaping during the intro was also very difficult because the UI text in the top-left corner is almost transparent and hard to read. This made it unclear what actions I was supposed to take. The same issue continued later on and affected the overall gameplay clarity.

The atmosphere was pretty good at the beginning, but it got weakened over time—especially due to the repetitive voice lines, which broke immersion.

That being said, I can clearly see how much effort went into this project. It tries to create a very cinematic experience, which works in some moments, but not consistently throughout the game.

Developer

I’m glad you liked it. It’s a shame you weren’t able to escape. Since there was only one main mechanic (taking photos), I thought it would be clear that you had to take a picture of the code. Those are mistakes I need to fix later, since the idea is for everyone to be able to escape and reach the good ending.

And thank you for the comment about the voices. Honestly, that was what worried me the most, since my English isn’t very good.

THIS GAME IS ABSOLUTE CINEMA! i love the atmosphere, spooky vibes...

Love the gameplay, couldnt find the last key to escape the house lol and yea

id suggest you add like subtitles to the voice over, it will look good!

I also found a bug, so when you pause, it shows the resume and main menu buttons, but i am still able to look around in the game, as well as the voice overs play, so yea

Overall, a very good game! Good Job!

Also could you rate my game too pleaseeeeeee :)

Developer

Thank you so much for playing. It’s a shame you weren’t able to escape. I’ll work very hard so that when I update the game, it will be clearer where to find the keys, or I’ll add more clues and hints XD.

By the way, I rated your game a while ago. I’ve been reviewing them in the order they were uploaded.

masterpiece that's all i have to say

p.s : I gave this game  the highest scare-factor rate

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much, I’m really glad you found it terrifying. The truth is that when you develop your own games, playing them yourself just doesn’t feel the same anymore, so that was one of my biggest concerns—well, that and the dialogue XD

Fun game! Don’t you just hate it when your camera overheats :>

The voice acting was a nice touch! I also liked the concept of going around gathering evidence against your captor, that was a very cool game idea!

I wasn’t able to finish it, though. I think I found all the keys since I was able to get into every room in the house, including the secret one with the picture wall, but nothing happened afterward. I ran around spamming F and using my camera, but still nothing. A bit more direction on what you’re supposed to do would have been helpful.

I also encountered a couple of bugs. Firstly, my mouse wasn’t locked to the game, so my cursor would go onto my other monitor as I looked around and when I clicked in game it would tab me out. Also, some voice lines overlapped each other at times.

Great work!

Thank you so much for the feedback. Once the Game Jam is over, I’m going to fix all those issues. And about the ending, it’s a shame you couldn’t get out of the house. I thought the graffiti saying ā€œBesem..ā€ would make it clear that the key was in the basement, but I’m glad you liked it.

Submitted(+1)

I really like the game play - it's kinda fun with the camera and the graffitis as the triggers and the environment looks good too - love the lighting! Also love the movement of the killer and the dialogue, build good tension. Good work!

Developer(+1)

That’s great to hear. I was nervous that what it said wouldn’t be understood and that the idea of the game wouldn’t be clear. I’m glad you liked the game.

Submitted(+1)

I couldn't figure out what to do with the last key :( . Maybe I just didn't take a picture of the right thing or something... Definitely would like a bit more clarity on that.

The game itself is really good looking! Enjoyed playing it even if I'm a little sad I couldn't figure out the ending. Voice acting was a nice touch too. Good stuff!

Developer

Oh, that’s a shame. I should have been more precise with the location of the last key to leave the house. I thought the graffiti saying ā€œBaseme...ā€ would make it clear that it was in the basement.

a bit creepy but was fun and enverment is was really  oweesm

Developer

Thank you so much for playing, I’m glad you liked it.

pretty creepy . was fun player feels fast but it works.

Developer

I’m glad you liked it. I’ll keep improving it once the Game jam is over and leave it in my portfolio, so all feedback helps me a lot.

The game was intense all the way through. The lighting and level design are really well done. Someone already mentioned the player’s speed, so maybe slow it down a bit. Anyway, great job, GG! <3

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for playing. Yeah, I’m going to adjust the speed XD, but I’m glad it felt intense to you. In the end, after playing it so much while testing, I started to feel nothing XD

Submitted(+2)

The player movement is too fast, no?

Developer

Interesting, I hadn’t seen it that way. Maybe after doing so many tests, I ended up leaving it at a faster speed than normal so I could move through the map quickly and check that everything was working. I’ll try to fix that in the future, but I’m glad it’s that and not just ā€œit’s badā€ or something like that hahaha.

i really liked the voice acting good job on the game it needs polish but it can be really good

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much, I was actually thinking about improving it in the future for my portfolio.
