Simple idea but great execution. I thought the models and overall vibes were fantastic, and had a great time brewing up all the potions and seeing the reactions.

Really funny game, I LOVED seeing all the reactions!

I wish the coins did something, I didn't really have a end goal beyond get all the potions in the book. I think it would have been nice if they unlocked ingredients gradually for a cost, or if I could buy a recipe to help finish my book.

Good work!

Hey, thanks for the feedback! The idea of unlocking ingredients or recipes with coins is so cool! Honestly, coins were added at the last minute. I realized the player wasn’t being rewarded for serving a good potion, so I rushed to add something :P

The game has a few simple mechanics brewed into a enjoyable experience. Overall I feel like it’s a polished game and I had fun experimenting with the recipes and the humor was a great touch. Cheers!

Really cool concept with a ton of charm, had fun playing this.

Probably it would have been better to have a recipe book.
Not going to lie, head explosion got me out of guard... 5/5!

Developer

Thanks for playing! There’s a recipe book in the game. Each time you discover a new potion, a hint appears at the bottom of the screen letting you know that pressing TAB will open the recipe book. The goal was to encourage players to experiment and figure out different potions on their own, rather than giving them all the recipes from the start :)

Really nice game, we have a similar concept but with more "randomness" but your approach with customers and their orders matching exactly is great.

Really fun! 10/10

P.S. I couldn't open it from Linux though, had to test on Windows computer.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for review! It was my first time exporting project to Linux, I just used the default export settings. I'll dig into it and try fix the issue!

I like this game, Its cosy, and well done. I had really good time creating new recepy. i did 12 explosive potion and only one ghost with my luck XD

Developer(+1)

Glad to hear you liked the game! I wanted to add more potions so you wouldn't end up with the same one multiple times but I just run out of time :P Also, the brewing system is extremely unbalanced, as I used weights instead of strict recipes, so it results in one potion being more common than another

Very clear game loop. There's a lot of charm to everything. Nice submission!

Thank you!

Loving the walking animations and the effects of the potions. Fun little game! :)

Developer

Thanks! It was my first time using an animation player in a 3D game, so I wanted to keep it as simple as possible :P

I love when games have some funny text/dialogues/events, and you really nailed it. The character animations, the way they look, their reactions after good or bad potions... amazing work!

the idea is quite creative and well executed, the potions are super cool and I loved seeing their effects. My only tiny feedback was that it could be more intuitive to learn how to interact with the customer, I tried handing them the potion directly for a while lol. But once that was done it was smooth, fun sailing :)

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! That’s something I’ll keep in mind for my future projects. Playtesting my own game over and over tends to make me think the mechanics are intuitive and easy to understand, but that’s often not the case for new players.

really fun once you understand the mechanics i was able to fined out how to make all of them but one and the characters where vary funny nice work :)

Developer(+1)

Glad to hear! Which potion was your favorite? NPCs also react if you give them an ingredient instead of a potion :)

cool i didn't try that my favorite potion was the one that made them giants
