This is incredible! Love the art style, all the art was great. Good job with animating as well! It would have been cool to have some visual indicators for where you should/could click but with enough exploring you get there. Fantastic entry, really well done for a solo dev!
Thank you so much! You’re right, in the first section it’s easy to get a bit lost without clear feedback on what’s clickable and what isn’t. After the jam I’ll release an updated version of the game with lots of technical fixes, including this one for sure. If you feel like it, maybe give it another look once the jam is over.
Fun game, very nice point and click mechanics with minigames and story. I liked the different aspects of the game (puzzle, sidescroller and stealth). I had criticism with the very small hitboxes in the first area of the game, it felt like they were too small. Also the enemies in the both the sidescroller and stealth area were too unforgiving. I think it would be an idea to include a difficulty setting so even unexperienced players can continue with the story (for instance with eaiser modes, you could set the goals for each level lower, having sightlines and preemptive ranges to see where the enemies will show up and if they will see you, and have a reaction timer so they dont automatically kill you). The art style and animations are very nice, and I like how it changes depending on how far from the camera you are. I think the trees should low visibility when you are near/under them so you can see the fruit on the ground. The text prompts were quite funny. I didn't get any further than the orchard level unfortunately.
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, the drone section is a bit mean — it was the last thing I worked on, and I probably should’ve spent a bit more time tuning their reaction times, aggression, and so on. I really like your idea about variable difficulty; I’ll keep it in mind for future projects.
Too bad — you were just one step away from the ending! I hope you’ll feel like giving it another try to see how it wraps up. After the jam I’ll publish an updated version with bug fixes and some improvements based on players’ suggestions.
Thanks for playing!
This is absolutely my favorite game I've played so far. I'm astounded you were able to accomplish this in a week. All the art is so detailed and your tricks for animating the character in engine were super clever. The audio is perfect and adds so much to the experience and all the different mini games were amazing surprises. Not to mention it was hilarious. The sudden inclusion of a 3D generator mad science device was hilarious. I spent the whole game wondering what this guys plan could be that involves so much fruit and the ending tied everything together and genuinely made me laugh. Thank you for this game, I can't wait to play more of your work!
Thank you so much! I’m really glad to hear that the story and the humor came through. I learned a ton during this jam, discovered so many interesting games, and found a community that’s incredibly supportive. I honestly can’t wait to work on the next projects.
Bru this game is absolutely magical, after the way the sound drops after you insert the name really threw me for a loop. It's like coming in contact with alien technology, no way anyone is skipping such a goated into.
Did you draw this in paint? As far as controls go, I like the mouse only option, then I can play on my mobile.
Thanks! 🤣
No, I drew everything in Aseprite, and some dynamic elements (like the player) directly in the Godot editor, using Polygon2D and Line2D.
Such a fun game and really amazing art and animations. I really loved the music too.
Thank you! 🙏🙏
one of my favorite games so far. There are a lot of things I loved here. It made me feel quite nostalgic. The art is extremely original and well done for such a short amount of time. The panel when he is crying over his bike's lack of fuel is just peak. I loved the humor, the animation, the house style, the info on each fruit... it was super well done
only thing I'm sad about is that my wrist hurts after playing this a bit. I'm an old man and having to spam the click button to see what happens gets quite tiresome. I think a little outline/feedback when the player hovers an interactible would have done so much good. Well, maybe it would have made the game a lot shorter, but idk, for me, I really wanted to finish the game, but I played like 15 mins of spamming buttons, and after finding 10 fruits I still couldn't leave, so I just gave up :(
still one of the best that I played in the jam though, loved the artwork and excited to see what else you make in the future!
Wow, thank you so much for the lovely feedback! I’m really sorry you had to spam‑click — and you’re absolutely right about the hover on interactive areas. I didn’t manage to implement it, even though I wanted to improve object interaction a bit. In the end I focused on reaching the ending I had planned, even if that meant leaving some parts a little bare.
I hope you’ll feel like coming back to finish it and see how the story develops. After the jam I’ll update the game, fix some bugs, and improve the clicking/interaction flow.
really great game, I love the graphics. I am really impressed by what you have done!
Thank you very much, I'm glad you had fun with it 🙏😁
So cool! Curious how you did the visuals. Was this bone based animation with a pixel shader or all hand drawn pixel art?
Thanks! I used Polygon2D and Line2D for most of the game’s visuals, so I could rotate and scale things dynamically while keeping the line thickness consistent. I animated the player with the AnimationPlayer by modifying the rotation of each limb (I probably could’ve done it faster with bones, but I’m not very familiar with them yet).
Wow i didnt even consider that. Congrats, that sounds like a ton of work and it turned out great!
This game has so much personality, I love it :) Fantastic art and music. Really well done!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it. 🙏
this is a really fun little point and click adventure i don't normally play them but this was really fun nice work
I’m really glad you enjoyed it even though it’s not your usual genre, thanks a lot for playing!
Wow, awesome what you get done in 9 days. Cool Point and Click adventure. Would be great if the character would move and interact with the clicked location, instead of first moving there and then you have to click again.
PS: Hate the door trick :D
Thanks a lot! Yeah, you’re right, this double‑click mechanic gets a bit tedious in some parts. Thanks for the feedback!
