A free RPG about construction sites, house claret, and the wisdom of retirement.

Hark, good people of itch.io!

UMARELL is a free RPG made with RPG Maker MZ, set in the Lombard countryside of northern Italy.

You play as Sor Ninetto, a retired gentleman who travels towards Milan, commenting on construction sites, battling pestilent urban beasts (pigeons, rats, hornets and worse), and collecting items of dubious but essential utility.

The game features:

50+ maps across real Lombard towns
Milanese dialect proverbs and local legends
A cast of gloriously unremarkable characters
House claret, woolly socks, and suppositories

It is free. It is strange. It is very Italian.
