Cute little idle clicker (though calling it that made me figure out way too late that I could click and hold to water, instead of. struggling to click it full!). The art is on the simpler side, but there's an undeniable charm to all the growth stages of the plants. It's really thought through!

I somehow ended up getting pollen wayyy easier than money most of the time, making me breeze through the prestige levels and unlocking all of the plants - but actually making the plants grow and selling them really seemed to slow down at some point, especially with how long it took to automate parts of the process with the waterbulb.

Having to hover over the shop menu and having the category buttons on the right side sometimes made me struggle to even keep the shop open, since I would move too far and it would immediately close.

Still, I think this idea for a clicker is very nice and just needs some more polishing and balancing!

game looks charming; though the pacing is very slow, as far as idle games go. the screen resolution shud also be fixed, as it doesnt fit my monitor.

with more polish this cud be a fun lil idle game, but as of now it can feel a bit stale. not much to do during the start and can feel like a drag to play through.

uve mentioned wanting to make a steam release. id hold off on that idea for a bit, specially since your game feels and looks empty. for your game to sell well it needs to look interesting even from a screenshot. there is too much empty space and the games background is nonexistent; there is no movement or anything interesting going on.

Thanks for the helpful feedback ^^ yes very much to be added before ven thoughts of a steam release haha, perhaps a bit too excited wit hthe idea and should take a step back. i again appreciate the feedback and your time ^^

I like the art, I feel like the artstyle works really well for this game. Cozy vibes on point. And a touch of personality is always good. The foundation feels solid. The scope was managed well for the game jam.

From my experience with idle games: I think feedback / "feel" / "juice" is very important for idle games. It helps if the main mechanic feels satisfying to do.  Also, small rewards that happen often or small goals to complete for that dopamine rush early on could be nice to hook players. Idle gamers also like collections and achievement hunting. It helps to make players feel invested.

I had fun playing:) Thanks for the game!

thank you so much for your kind words ^^ yes there were thoughts on adding herbs and more but I was able to manage my scope. I am no artist but I do really appreciate the compliments :p

I love hearing from idle game players as that is definitely my audience lol, thank you so much for the valuable feedback :)

Overall, very fun and promising!

It felt really bad to prestige and *only* unlock new things, with no actual progression speedup.

I bought a fernflower seed and I never got it. I then ended up with a fernflower AND a lily in a pot!

Also, while it didn't happen to me, it's possible to run out of money and softlock. Also, what's the purpose of the shovel?

Developer

that is so funny as I’ve never seen that bug. Starting money and passive growth were faster with watch level up but I should’ve had it displayed. Game testers also expressed that they were disappointed with losing all progress def need to head back to the drawing board. The shovel (very flawed) but will destroy a plant at any growth in a pot leaving it empty. This was just for if a flower was more difficult or not what you actually wanted it was an easy way to just get rid of it. Thank you so much for playing and all your feedback :))

Game is pretty fun when I got OP, but the grind is really slow each time I prestige. The UI/UX need some improvements, like water bar isnt obvious, and also planting seed is troublesome when i try to plant alot of seeds.
Then, for sprinkler its not worth it. 3 waterbulb is better than 1 sprinkler.

thank you so much for playing!! Your feedback in the discord (and here lol) is incredibly helpful and very much appreciated. Level 5 is definitely the one to beat for the jam. And I’m glad you enjoyed *some* of your time in Paradise :))

A very strong baseline for an idle game. I played.. a lot of idle games over the years. This one definitely does a lot of things right. The balancing, the management of multiple resources in different ways, the meta progression with resets. Obviously, the art and UI/UX would need quite a bit of care, but from gameplay mechanics really nice! I'd suggest adding a "click to gain XYZ" already in the beginning though, or in some other way make the start a bit more engaging. Other than watering, waiting for it to grow, and selling, you don't do much in the beginning, which feels a litle bit too stale (since there's no idle production of money present either). Just as food for thought :)

I love to hear that, as this was my first idle game project and I wanted to bring the whole idle part justice. While I added the click to gain pollen with the brush, i definitely feel like I missed the mark, I’m really glad you enjoyed some of it and I cannot thank you enough for the valuable feedback. If anything else comes to mind feel free to comment as idle game players are exactly who I want to hear from :))

I find idle games very addicting and I feel that brewing here. I like watching the flowers slowly blossom and my garden gradually expanding. The background could use some work though and some controls feel a bit awkward (like plants needing to be watered fully in order to start growing). All in all, it has good potential!

Developer

I’m super glad you enjoyed it for the most part, thank you so much for the feedback and for playing :))

Really chill game. I got kind of lost in it for a bit there with the music going, which feels like a good sign for this kind of game. The gameplay was really intuitive, so I didn't really need instructions to get going. I started off thinking I'd just get a few pots running, and then suddenly I never had a free moment because I was rushing around watering everything lol. The tools were a fun addition too, like the magnifying glass and the other little upgrades. The art was simple but really pretty, and I liked that each flower looked in the art style. I definitely kept playing because I wanted to see how each flower was drawn. I also like the side menu and the design choice of having it hide itself when not hovering. Really nice cozy jam entry.

Thank you so very much for the kind words, i  am so glad you enjoyed ^^ i am not an artist by any means but making those flowers was a LOT of fun ^^

This was a fun gardening game!  I loved that the plant sprites were specific to the growth pattern of each different plant, and the game loop was fun and relaxing for the most part.

I felt like some plants, like the lilies, would lose all their water if I looked at the menu for even a second, so they were a bit more stressful (ᵕ—á´——)

Yeah I wanted a diverse set of flowers, some easy to grow and others a bit harder with more maintenance. Thanks so much for playing!!

A nice peaceful incremental game, definitely a good theme for one. I enjoyed the game play rhythm of growing the plants and selling them to then get more, better plants

I did find the side menu a little hard to use with how quickly it closed, especially when trying to swap between the types of shop.

Thank you SO much for the feedback and for playing my game ^^
