This was a really fun read! I think that Syrol is an interesting main character. Where at first I really just felt bad for her for being constantly thrown, dragged, and knocked out (it's been a really rough few days for her...), she really grew on me as the story went on. I think it was mainly through seeing her take initiative like hiding the second Garba, or crawling into the battlefield to find Jorjun. I gotta respect her determination o7

I think the POV switches near the end really helped to keep the momentum of the story going, and also did a lot to flesh out Jorjun (who I didn't have the greatest first impression of, but like Syrol he grew on me).

The world building is is also very cool, and I'd be interested to see more of this world and these characters! Great story!

I appreciate your feedback.  And I enjoy seeing the different impressions people have of the characters.  It's been fascinating reading how some people find Syrol endearing while others find her annoying, and the same with Jorjun.  I really wanted all the characters to have multiple layers: focusing on how each one is operating on limited information and pre-set biases.

Okay, this was very, very good. I can tell you put a lot of effort in the worldbuilding, and it feels really deep, like there's more to explore beyond the text. I also enjoyed the Rashomon-style POV change midway - you could tell in the first part that Syrol run'Pror was very biased and even prejudiced, so it was nice to see the situation from another perspective that we got to compare it with.

As far as criticism, the beginning felt a little hard to get through as the worldbuilding came in hard and fast. But, as the plot fell into a groove, it all started to feel natural. Syrol run'Pror was a bit annoying, but I get the feeling that's intentional, and the other POVs certainly do seem to validate that. The text would, of course, benefit from some editing (wouldn't any?) but there wasn't anything that bad really.

All in all, an interesting glimpse into what's clearly a very deep and well-developed world. Great job!

Are you telling me you didn't immediately fall head-over-heels for the small, noble lady?  I'm truly shocked! Not really

Bias in the POVs was a big part of the story/themes when writing, so it's a great relief that they were picked up on.  These are all characters who are operating on incomplete information, trying to coexist, with varying levels of interest in said coexistence.  It was a lot of fun contrasting Syrol and Jorjun, especially as it relates to someone with far more years of life experience versus someone who wants more.

I greatly appreciate the feedback.  I'd love to write more with this setting in the future.

This was a great story to read during my morning, I love Syrol and her POV, but all three characters in the story and their POV were nice to read through as well. I loved reading about the world too and how you build off of it.

I don't really have much critism for the story honestly, except maybe there was some grammer errors at some points, but they were only small errors that I saw.

Overall, I loved reading this story, it was a nice introduction too, great job!
