Getting used to the controls took a bit but apart from that it was allright. I like puzzle games and even though puzzles here weren't that hard, it was a nice little game. Especially considering you were doing it in 1 person, you have my respect.
Yeah I have to join the team of “the controls are crazy hard” :D But other than that holy shit is this polished! Visually stunning, cool idea and love the use of blender monke :D AND YOU ARE A SINGLE DEV?? What the hell were the four of us doing??? Our game sucks compared to this! :D Good fucking job!! Love the music too!
Thank you so much for playing and feedback, yes I did this solo so I didnt sleep that much. And the controls are really fucked, I let it play my mum yesterday and she was so angry at it haha. Also in the last hours I wanted to add my own character model to it, but I was too lazy so I ended up with the suzannne :D.
the controls and the perspective made it so hard
Great visuals, but the controls are really not great. Got through it though and overall, nice game! I think if the movement was limited to 8-directions only, it could work much better, but I get that having it be tough to control was maybe the point?
Thanks for playing, the controls were meant to be funny, but I suppose I overdid it.
Oh god I hate the controls, my perspective wasn’t perspecting much XD But I assume that was the point - making it hard with such controls so it is not so easy. Otherwise, I am glad I made it to the top! :D Good job!
Sorry to hear that, I mean it is maybe because I was developing it, so the controls didnt feel bad to me. I was trying to make it look funny and unique.
Interesting game. The controls and the perspective make it unique. But unfortunately, the controls are not very intuitive.
I managed to pass the last levels by not moving any boxes at all and just scaled the large towers :D
Good job for a single dev!
Interesting game. I love visuals. The perspective makes it pretty hard to feel the depth
Thanks! I’m glad you like the place. Regarding the depth, I was aiming for an orthographic feel, but I don't think I executed it quite right. Unfortunately, that makes depth perception and awareness of Suzanne’s position a bit difficult.
Could not seem to get past the 5th level, the perspective and jumps made it seemingly impossible.
Also the level updated after reaching the objective, but then it changed. Leading me to believe there is more than 5 levels, but they are somehow unplayable.
Thanks for the feedback! I’m sorry for the struggles; I made many mistakes with the level designs and more.
Regarding the perspective, unfortunately, I wanted this orthographic style, but again, I think I didn't execute it well, so the controls and perception of Suzanne in place are hard. The game has 5 checkpoints, where the last one is on the top and the boxes can be positioned there.
If the level seems to be broken or if it is in some sort of unplayable state, try reloading the page (I’ve added a note about this in the description). Since my time management is very off, there are few bugs especially when pressing keyboard like hell.
Yeah it seemed like there should have been some boxes in the level. But anyhow I really liked you made a 3D game and the jiggle physics were amazing.
Really my only issues were the broken last level and the rotation speed being too high. But otherwise it was quite fun.
