Pretty decent game. I'm not really a rage game/platformer person but I can respect the effort it took to make this
I had to give up at 9 bananas and 126 deaths. But I enjoyed my time with the game so far! It feels very polished if unforgiving. The writing was funny too, and it was interesting to see it continue along with the game.
On a side note, this is the first game in the submissions that has caused my laptop fan to really start up. The game performed pretty well though.
I don't get it. But I don't need to, because I RETURNED TO MONKE!
On a serious note: Looks super cute and I felt like a monke while playing the game so you sold me. The wall jump feels bad, but the animation is amazing which makes me just want to latch onto trees and not do anything else.
Super charming game, I love the concept and the art and audio are super nice and polished. The gameplay is nice and well paced and it's quite engaging, but man there are some cruel segments (though it doesn't help that I suck at platformers). Overall it's a nice and polished experience. Well done!
Extremely fun game, controls feel just as hard to control as they should be. The final vine challenge was super cool, very creative to figure that out in a 2 day jam. Great job! (It took me a very long to beat)

I couldnt get past 6 bananas as I kept having this bug where when i'd try climbing a wall my character would be stuck moving left momentarily and I was unable to jump right.
Weird, I never ran into this bug during testing :( if possible are you able to send me a clip of it happening, maybe on discord? If not all good, ty for playing anyway
