I looooove how this fits the theme and the frog is so cute. I am all about the art on this project. The premise pulled me in and I didn't find it hard to learn how to jump, but I did find it confusing being able to compete for both the long jump and high jump at the same time. It also felt like the game state got stuck and I had to reload the page if I wanted to do anything else. Nice work making such a flavorful project regardless!
Feels a bit rough but a solid entry! Feel like it shouldn't let you move unless you're jumping and perhaps restart after a jump but that's just my opinion and the game definitely works.
Yeah, didn't quite get to finish it for the jam (working on an updated version). Was thinking the same thing about resetting between jumps (and maybe move between events, like from Long Jump to High Jump, to Dash (which wasn't finished in time) etc), but I'm kind of thinking of going in a different direction. Thanks a ton for trying it out, next time hopefully I have a more complete thing
