PLEASE TELL ME I AM HEARING INSPIRATION FROM SEA POWER’S - FIRE ESCAPE IN THE SEA?!! IF NOT, WHAT ARE THE CHANCES YOU CREATED SUCH A SIMILAR SONG?! :DD

Anyways, great music! Great music taste!! :D

Ehm yes the game, cool concept with overwhelming the player with over the top emails and scams and stuff. It was a bit too much reading and I get that it is part of the theme, but I just wasn’t sure if I HAVE TO read everything, or it’s okay to skip sometimes. Also I kinda forgot what was my goal so I had to replay again because I just bought some random bullshit :D Really great overall though, good job!! :) Oh and visually very beautiful!

Thank you so much! It was actually inspired by said song, I had actually never heard it beforehand, my friends showed it to me and told me "pls compose sm like this :D" for the main theme loll :,)

I hope it wasn’t that painfully similar, I tried to not just blatantly copy, but I can see how similar they are now tbh ;.; I mostly draw my inspiration from classical music tho, like with the ending theme :)))

Thank you for your kind words again :3!

Omgg yess I knew it!! :D Don’t worry I don’t see it as a blatant copy, I actually think you did a great job of giving it your own unique spin! I just really love that song and the rest of OST for Disco Elysium :D You should definitely continue doing music, you’ve got the talent for it! :)

Love it, great writing, feels like a complete game. On my very first go, I spent loads of money on random bullshit and then had only barely enough left to afford the blind dragon lady and the lights for her.

Such a fun game! Funny too! I laughed out loud at the "Drag King in Yellow" :D

Developer

Aww, thank you so much ! Yea Monik cooked with that one !!!

Very cute, loads of content too!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! ^^ Yeah, making all that content was really difficult to do in time, and I'm only speaking as myself who only implemented the conversations into the engine and wrote a few of them! I can't speak for them of course but I'm pretty sure it must've been even harder for our writers and artists Monik and Nori!

Very ambitious for a game jam, love the commitment!

realy good game,

only critism in the end dialog why i cant use mouse to continue but space is still fine other then that realy good job

(i was in the same room as you the one with the dragon game too)

Developer(+1)

You can, actually :D Try clicking on the "Press space" text :D

We should've probably made that clearer in-game, as well as in the game's description. I did mention it's possible on mobile, but forgot to mention the same works on the puter, too.

Anyway, thanks, and hi :D

Awesome! The writing is definitely a big highlight here. I found the difficulty well-balanced, and the UI elegant.

Developer(+2)

We’re so happy that you enjoyed our game! Monik, Rose, and Nori cooked so hard with the writing :D

Developer

Thank you so much !!! That's so nice to hear ^^

I have a soft spot for games with reading (Planescape torment, BG1&2, ... ) so that was a big plus for me. The whole concept was nice and I am curious what the maximum achievable score actually is. So far I managed to get 1000 but I might try it again.

Some of the stories were really nice - like that old one who kept sending email after email because they're bad with technology.

I appreciated the art for the performers - the blind dragon was my favorite I think and the word puns - Fake Book, Sand Witches etc.

Good job :)

Developer(+1)

Thank you !!! Shelby is one of the few characters that I wrote, and I'm really glad you liked her ^^ It also warms my heart that you liked the blind dragon woman - that's my OC Oleandra and Nori did an absolutely stellar job with her art (and in general, Nori and Monik both did an absolutely stellar job on all the art ^^)

1000 is a very good score! I don't know how other players have it, but I've noticed that at least in my playthroughs, the score seems to be similar to the one in Minecraft - pretty useless and not really what the player is after. I was always focusing on booking as many performers as I could (and discovered a fatal bug if you book seven or more this way, oof), and the score isn't really indicative of that :D

This is fun, and it has such nice visuals and sound design! :) got score 300 at first, not sure if it is a lot, but I'm gonna definitely try it again :D

Developer

Thank you so much for your kind words! ^^

I really enjoyed the visuals and music! Got a bit confused when the speed up part didn’t work for a while. :DD Would be cool to see characters more often as the game starts :3 Great work, guys!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Yes, that is unfortunately a bug, we're aware of it ^^ And I agree, Monik and Nori really cooked with the visuals, and Dan with the music! ^^
