  • Atmospheric story game with very nice pixel art and a surprisingly immersive mood. I liked walking around and piecing together what happened, and the machine virus idea fits the theme well.

The pixel art looks good. The ambient music is nice but maybe a bit too chill for the story...

I found myself skipping dialogue because it was repeating in a row. It may be a good idea to disable the intro dialogue interaction listener after the player goes through it once.

The key in the dungeon should disappear similar to the floppy disks. It was confusing if the character took it or not especially since there is no inventory.

The walk cycle is rubbish - it looks like the character is bending the knees in the wrong direction... Needs to be redone. Apologies for being so direct.

I chose the ending where I reset the computer. Nothing happened then - just returned to the main menu. That's anticlimactic. I guess you didn't have time for the jam and you are going to make it more interesting after.

I'm curious to see what happens with the other ending.

This game has potential to expand. Good luck!

Thanks for the thoughtful feedback — really appreciate you taking the time to play and be direct.

A few quick responses:

  • The music was added very late during the jam, so we went with something simple that wouldn't get too distracting. We definitely plan to revisit the soundtrack to better match the tone.
  • Good point about the dialogue — we'll be improving the system so it doesn't repeat unnecessarily.
  • Agreed on the key — we'll make sure it disappears like the floppy disks to avoid confusion.
  • The walk cycle is on me 😅 I'm still improving with animation, and I agree it looks off. It's something I'll be reworking.
  • And yeah, the endings are pretty barebones right now. We ran out of time near the end of the jam (final year of college doesn't help 😅), but we definitely want to expand them into something more meaningful.

Thanks again — feedback like this really helps us improve the game. :)

I couldn't beat the battle level there were some bugs while conversation was going my guy was getting killed repeatedly, etc.  Interesting story and pixel art.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, we'll make sure to go over those bugs and try to squish them :)

The game didn't quite fit on my screen, but that didn't detract from the experience :) The visuals are gorgeous, great job!

Developer

Thanks! We appreciate it :)

Classic story, odd mix of genres, a bit clunky controls. And yet... I was immersed completely until the very end. Good work.

Developer

Thanks :) We plan on updating the game in the future. I'm glad you played until the end, thank you once more.
