It would be nice to explain what the other consumables do (and on my part, not eating them all before the climb).

The controls reminded me of a game my friend made - literally this but in VR!

PTSD from bouldering as well!

Nice game, I liked it.

Really cool climbing mechanic! I found it super immersive and enjoyed the game a lot! The Morse is a bit annoying after a while, but it still indicates danger in a great way.

Good job!

Really dig the visual style! The controls broke mid game I think?? I couldn’t grab anymore and had to restart :D Also I’m not sure if the rocks help me to regain some stamina, or I just have to go upwards no matter what. But I’m impressed how well the character is animated! Good job! :)

Really cool climbing mechanic.  I wish the handholds were explained somewhere, I found them really inconsistent in costing or not costing me any stamina while using them to climb. Otherwise a really cool and unique entry

You can say the exploration of that mechanic is a part of the game ;)

(Nah. definetly our bad.. it was supposed to be a part of a tutorial but.. didn't make the tutorial in time.. classic game jam *'ah eto.. bleh' gif insertion here*)

Thank you for playing and commenting on our game :)

PS:

For anyone else wondering and reading this, they each cost less stamina then the general wall (the one with the vertical column inside is the best one).. but they always cost some stamina.

There is small radius around the center of each handhold that will make your hand snap (different SFX) and use less stamina.

Amazing! Would love to be able to move side to side when "on ground", but honestly not a hude deal. Really original concept.

Tricky to figure out, but only 'cause it's not quite like any game I've played before, which is cool! Innovation, wow!

Fun and innovative concept, and a nice little game. The controls are a bit hard to understand and could use more polish.

I agree, they were quite a bold choice for a game jam. Thank you for playing :)

Interesting controls, truly unique here :)

Thanks. With more time, the result would have been better. We set our ambitions quite high and had to compromise in other areas as a result.

Really unique approach in my opinion! I loved the controls, even tho it was a struggle for me at first, I got on the top. And holly sh*t, the mountain is producing candy bars! XD

Developer(+1)

Yeah, the controls were hard to balance. Glad you enjoyed it and congratulations for reaching the summit!

Very Cairn vibes! I was kinda annoyed at first because for a long time I was trying to climb carefully like in Cairn. But then I realized that I needed to be just really fast and did well afterwards. I feel like it's a quite complex but also unique control system for a game jam, really appreciate the effort!
