Never thought i'd enjoy a vampire survivors game with screaming bald men chasing me!
Wow that was amazing, there are some problems with some videos where audio cuts out even if you use a local file, but most of the time its fine, crazy concept!
Its was a pain in the ass but I think i finally fixed that issue.
Small problem with the game that you will need to fix before the game is sent off to Joel. The fact that the only videos you can add are downloaded from youtube limits the number of times you can play it before the YouTube API cuts your IP off for downloading videos. If you could add an option for using local video files along with the download option before we send packs off to Joel, that would be appreciated.
Another thing to add before shipping off to Joel if it isn't already included is to have yt-dlp run a -U to update on launch since it can be finicky if not on the most recent version.
Sure, adding local videos should be easy. As for updating yt-dlp I'm not so sure, this specific version allows downloading videos in low quality, the lastest version appears to be bugged, trying to download in low quality just corrupts the download, but I'll see what I can do. I can probably have it ready by Tuesday night.
The yt-dlp updating thing is just for future proofing because sometimes youtube makes the old versions just completely not work. Joel won't be playing the games until the end of the month or the start of May so you dont have to rush on the fix.
Its done, works great. I didn't test every single video format VLC supports but I can confirm the most common ones work.
Updating yt-dlp is a no go, if youtube kills it ill have to find some alternative.

hey man, i FINALLY managed to fix some nasty bugs that were causing crashes and audio problems, it was a pain in the ass to debug, be sure to ship the latest version to joey to avoid issues.

I cant seem to enter first level, it says download failed even though the link works in the level creator. :((
