Wow, this is a really cool game. I really like the innovative idea. I especially liked that you added a time pressure with the commands you which were falling down. Here is some minor input which may even further improve the game:

  • Would be cool if you had music for the game.
  • The buttons should stand out a bit more. I had a few seconds to realize where I need to click.
  • I experienced a bug in level 3. After a restart Gippity was not starting at the start position, but at the position where it died during the last attempt.

Congratulations to this innovative entry! I really had lots of fun playing it!

Thanks for the feedback!!  Yes I had planned to create some lofi chiptune music for it  but ran out of time.  I haven't experienced that bug yet I'll have to try  and figure it out.   :)

Nice and creative mechanics, it feels fresh compared to other puzzle games here.

Cool puzzle game, had some small issues, like not being able to click tokens near the bottom of the panel. But overall worked fine.

Very interesting puzzler. As someone who makes quite a few puzzle games this is one of the better designed ones i've seen for this jam. Hope you keep developing this!

I really loved the concept and UI design! Most of all, the character animations were so adorable! (ツ)ノ

Love the game!

Very innovative! I've started the game without reading the instructions and it was very easy to get what is the goal and how to play.

I like it, pretty cool gameplay :)

When will there be a part 2?

I found this to be an intriguing take on coding games. It introduces a slightly chaotic aspect, where you have to select arrows instead of typing or programming them directly. It somewhat resembles that game Omelet you cook.

Simple puzzle game.

Very, very unique puzzle game. I love the mechanics of planning the robot's trajectory. Visual style is also quite nice. Awesome!

I never would have thought to combine a movement planning puzzle with timing constraints. It's an interesting idea however I'm not too fond of having to count steps carefully while also looking at the falling tokens. If it was me I would actually preview what you've achieved before executing the plan. But maybe that would make the game trivial - hard to say. In any case an interesting submission.

Thanks for feedback!  I did have plans for Pause button which would probably alleviate it, but maybe there should be 2 stages to begin the level where you can preview the board on the second stage after reading instructions and   before tokens start falling...  Thanks again!!
