As Obi-Wan Kenobi once famously said, “well, hello there!” My name is Thomas, and I’m the creative lead and designer behind Orange Heart Creative, a one-man game development studio. I’m relatively new to the game (pun intended), but I’ve enjoyed seeing all of the amazing work that everybody’s been doing!

Hello!

Hello to you, as well! Nice to meet you!

Hello All,

Heya! I go by Boog in most online spaces, I'm a cartoonist who dabbles in ttrpg design. Only started using Itch.io to host/sell my work last year and realized I hadn't had the chance to really meet the community yet!
My art's kind of inspired by Mike Mignola and the packaging from 90s gross-out toys, and I tend to use splashy genre/action work as the chocolate coating for grimier, uncomfortable character work in my stories. Looking forward to getting to know y'all!

Hello! We’re a small indie studio dedicated to crafting compact, polished experiences. Our latest game is a 560 KB browser title inspired by the demoscene — the culture that taught us that limits can spark brilliance.

From Farbrausch’s 64k intros to Conspiracy’s legendary productions, we’ve always admired how much emotion can fit into such tiny packages.

We’re preparing the final release and sharing the near‑complete build with a handful of early players. If you enjoy being part of the shaping process and spotting things before they reach the wider audience, we’d be glad to have you try it.

Hi everyone! I'm Alexa, learning game dev. Just shipped my first game with the help of AI - Carrot Rain 🥕 A simple arcade where a bunny catches  carrots and dodges rocks. Would love to hear what you think!

Hii, I'm SPJCECE. I have interest on making my own game ever since high school and 4 years later here I am, just started posting my very first game on Itch.io (Fractured Showtime), it's a fan-game of Cookie run: Kingdom.  My game usually revolves around Story, Bullet game (My first try) and maybe in the future I would like to make RPG. I love Deltarune so much that I feel inspired to make my own game from scratch and that includes the music too lol. Using Aseprite as my sprite maker and I use Ultrabox // FL studio to make music, I use Godot for coding :)

Hi everyone! 👋

My name is Diego. I started out studying Digital Animation — and while life took me in a different direction, my love for games and creative storytelling never went away.

These days I'm channeling that into Advertising & Digital Marketing, with a focus on social media strategy, content creation, copywriting, and paid media. Basically: I'm the person who helps people actually find and fall in love with the thing you spent months (or years) building.

I'm here because I genuinely believe indie projects are where the most interesting, most human stories in gaming and film are being told right now — and most of them deserve way more visibility than they get.

I'm open to anything: jumping into an existing project that needs a marketing hand, or building something from scratch with a team that has the vision and needs someone to handle the noise.

If any of that resonates, let's talk. 🎮

Hello everyone 👋

We are Tools Studio — a small independent developer tools studio focused on creating advanced systems and production-ready workflows for game development.

Currently working on: • Runtime systems • Editor tooling • Optimization utilities • Rendering workflows • Horror-focused gameplay systems • Unity & Unreal Engine tools

Our goal is simple: Build Faster. Ship Smarter.

Excited to join the itch.io community and connect with fellow developers and creators 🚀

Hi! I create 2D pixel art game assets for indie developers.

My work focuses on fantasy item icons, UI elements, RPG resources, and game-ready assets that can be used in Unity and other game engines.

I aim to create clean, readable, and consistent assets that help developers save time and build better-looking games.

More pixel art asset packs are coming soon!

Hello, cool sprites!

Hey, thank you so much :)

That's very cool! Personally, I create 3D low-poly assets on Blender, which is mostly oriented around science-fiction themes, such as spaceship models. It is completely different, but it's cool to see someone else also into asset creation.

I've just started using Blender for commercial purposes (I've had it for a while and used it occasionally, but I'm now using it with the goal of uploading and selling assets). I want to use it for more, like animation, but for now I'm just creating static objects.

What tools do you use for asset creation? I'm wondering if there's an app like Blender for what you are doing (I'm a Windows Paint enjoyer) and what features it has.

Hey, thanks! Your sci-fi work sounds really cool too.

For my pixel art workflow, I mainly use Aseprite. It’s probably the closest thing I’d recommend if you’re looking for a dedicated pixel art tool. I use it for drawing/editing, pixel cleanup, color adjustments, separating sprites, creating sprite sheets, and animations.

Aseprite is pretty easy to get into, especially if you’re already comfortable with something simple like Paint, but it has a lot more features specifically made for pixel art and animation. :)

Hello welcome to itch!

Hi my name is Mira. A baby app developer who made an online text based roleplaying app called Project Roleplay which allows for fun roleplaying writing stories :)

I just uploaded my OSR TTRPG, and it's PWYC. Inspired by tales of the Sidhe of Gaelic folklore: Think European Faery Tales with dire endings. Anything not human is fae, magic demands sacrifice in blood, and every Hero survives by spending the very thing that keeps them alive, and when that runs out—choose either a Coward’s Life, or a Hero’s Death that lets you go out doing something legendary... Dangerous adventures, meaningful choices, and unforgettable stories in a rules-light package that can be learned in minutes and played in a single evening.

If you like dark fairy tales, bargains, & hard choices… sit with us.

My name is GusLeBuster for no reason and my games are...... well hard to describe......

Howdy, Scott here from Venger's Decks!

Long time lurker and swallower here of games, and have just added my own new game. The Chaos TTRPG is a complete old-school fantasy roleplaying game contained in a single card deck, playable solo or with a group, no prep required. Built on a gritty, card-driven system with wild magicks, random encounters, and chaos baked in from the start, I'm pretty proud of it and hope you have fun with it!

You can grab it for free here or at thechaosttrpg.com, where you can also get the physical card deck. I've also released a free two-page adventure for it that you can run in a session, so feel free to pick that up here. Would love to hear your thoughts on it. I've got so many of the plans for this little game.

Best,

Scott
