Really cool idea but extremely hard :D Also I think this game needs shortcuts for changing the modes. Also there could be a fourth option to glue parts together? I can imagine giving myself a higher jump that way but maybe move slower. Or add some way to reset if I accidentaly remove all of my movement speed :D

Cool concept, that could use a lot of polish - but that is understandable for a game jam game. Neat.

I feel kinda proud of myself for beating the first level lol. I admire how smooth the physics is, and the concept is good. It's a pretty hardcore game, possibly a little too much in my opinion, and it would've been even if the cuttable blocks didn't represent core mechanics.

Question regarding the difficulty slider before the level starts: is moving the slider to the right (thus making the UI blocks bigger) supposed to make the game more, or less difficult? UX intuition would tell me moving the slider to the right would make the game harder than the default, but I found doing so made things easier, though at the cost of covering the map up (still resulting in a net-gain of easiness).

Hope this doesn't come of as too critical, because I genuinely had fun playing this, and I think this is a good game.

Thanks for the feedback,

with the slider, yeah the idea is it gets easier when it goes to the right as you have more volume you can use, I agree that the intuition is kinda backwards, but we didn’t really have time to worry about that as we were tight on time and other things kept breaking.

I’m glad that you managed to complete the first level as it seems the game’s harder than we thought :D

Perfectly understandable, it's hard to fine-tune this kind of stuff in a short jam!

interesting idea but too hard for my liking

I somehow managed to cut the buttons and it prevented me from doing anything else :(

Also when I was almost at the top of the screen the cube just got really hard to control - I could no longer jump and move at the same time, making the game completion impossible for me.

However, the idea is nice and I like the premise. I only wish there was a bit more polish when it comes to the controls and cutting mechanics as it was a bit frustrating in the end when I couldn't finish the game because of it

(I know, skill issue :D )

Sometimes I had problems with movement, but the idea is great and overall the game is nice
