That's one way to make use of the limitation! Also like how the player sprite looks kinda 3D. The game sadly didn't want to be fair in my one and only life though as the first pipe that appeared was so far vertically down that the top part was partially missing and the bottom gap was so small that getting through it was impossible.👍

You only have one attempt at reaching your score: Pishie only ever has ONE LIFE. I made sure you can not restart the game. If you get Pishie killed, that’s on your hands. Reload to see him being stuck in the ground looking miserable… how could you?

ahhhhck that’s a problem with my coding. Because it’s based on a tutorial (link the description!) it bases the calculation of distance on the sprite’s dimensions, so if the resolution is off, it won’t work properly.

the reason why the sprites look 3d…is because they are! All of them are pre-rendered 3d models turned into sprites :)

hahah thank you, I was afraid people would be upset by it since you can only play once, but it’s already a silly game, thought I’d go all in
All sprites made by me and yes, the game being stuck is the point of the game.
I went and removed the restart button, as well as forcing the game to save after your first attempt.
I expect a 5 stars on the limitation score! And 1 on everything else
EDIT: the game has a save and restart functionality meaning after the gamejam is over I may upload the real version without those features locked ;)

I actually remember an AppStore game with a similar theme where you could only play it once, it was a runner game where you parkour around some roofs
