The level of polish is incredible! (ツ)ノ

I really loved both the character design and the gameplay. While the camera following every tile made me feel a bit motion-sick, I could really feel your commitment to keeping the character perfectly centered at all times.

Nice little game. I liked that you added a tutorial, even though it was very easy. It helped to get into the gameplay loop. To be honest I did not really get why you need to roll the dice. I think it would have also worked without rolling a dice. Just open the chest and you randomly get what you want. I missed the functionality that you can remove items from your inventory when you opened a chest and got something nice in it, which did not fit.

Congratulations to this game!

Hi there, thank you for your honest and valuable feedback.

Regarding the dice mechanic, we want players to feel like they are playing a tabletop game, which is why we included dice rolls. Also, when you roll the same D20 twice, you receive a diamond item, so we believe the dice mechanic fits the gameplay well.

As for the feature that allows players to remove items, we will improve the tutorial in the future to make it clearer.

Thank you so much for your feedback!

Hi! Streaming your game now:

Developer

Hi, thanks for trying my game :D

Interesting idea, I was able to play for quite a while. I like the art and the music was good. My gripe is that I am a robot yet eating bread and drinking potions.

Good work!

Developer

Haha yea it should be canned food instead. Thank you for trying it out. We're glad that you enjoyed it!

Neat game!  I died a few times due to mechanics that I didn't yet understand - one time found a door that was apparently locked, another time unlocked a door but stepped on it when the timer reached 0, which apparently was too late :(.  The inconsistent resolution/scaling/interpolation of the pixel art bugs me, but, despite that, a lot of the graphics are really nice, I love the robots!  I enjoyed trying to fit the most valuable stuff in my bag.  The die roll animation was pretty cool too.

Developer

Thank you so much, sorry for the hard understanding problem. But we will review it again and we are glad you enjoyed it :D

Interesting game, the game mechanics are easily understood from the start of the game (even without a tutorial) can be very addicting!

Developer

Hi there, we would love to hear that from you. Thank you so much

Nice game, first time I played this genre.

Interesting dungeon crawler. I liked how you film a dice to the roll animation. But I didn't get how to end the level and died XD.

Developer

You need to go to the Exit. If you open the Map and see a yellow door with an Eve running on it, that's the exit. There are also some other specific exits that require certain conditions to open.

Long Review

Select Loot Menu

1 ... Add item info if hovered

2 ... Add option to navigate only with keyboard

3 ... Blur darker game bg (so I see Look Menu more clearly)

4 ... Add left click or E to auto put it in your backpack

5 ... Add smart Loot menu drag drop replace:

5.1 . let say I have item in my backpack spot x with size 2x1 no I drag it on spot of item 3x1 -> if item can be replaced then item A & B swap location on backpack (with extra bg animation)

Other

1 ... Maybe start with smaller levels (map size) -> so it is easier to explain game complexity. Now I am thrown into big map and ""might be"" lost.

2 ... Maybe add little camera effect sin, cos(zoom, move to break static image feeling)

Bugs

1 ... GUI backpack close

2 ... your entire inventory is left for 2nd run when you lose

3 ... (Visual) ... character can step on roof tiles of 2 tile status

4 ... I am not sure why I cannot enter home/store on 2nd run when my backpack is full

PS: Game has some addicting game-play

Thank you for you detailed feedbacks and helpful suggestions. We will write it down for later review.

Extraction Machine has a really cool idea behind it. The dice rolling mechanic was a highlight for me — it scratched that TTRPG itch. Music and SFX fit the vibe well, and the core gameplay is solid. The only quality-of-life improvement I'd suggest is making some items stackable to reduce inventory clutter.

Developer(+1)

Appreciate it! The dice system was one of the core ideas we were most excited about, so it’s awesome to hear it resonated. Glad the audio and gameplay worked for you as well

Have a really fun time with the game and successfully make Eve debt free!

Wish there was more content and random event to keep the game fresh in later day. But it's understandable given it's a jam. Hope the dev can expand more on this idea!

Developer

Thank you <3

this was really fun to play! I failed on my first play, but will be back to play until I help Eve pay off its debt!

Developer(+1)

We glad you enjoyed it and congrats on helping Eve pay off its debt.

Fun roguelike, enjoyed the D20 and inventory management combo. A little smoothing on the camera movement would be nice.

Developer

Thank you. we will write down the camera feedback on later review

A fun enough roguelike, didn't really see the theme fit, felt like you could have swapped any character in and called it matching the theme. Mechanically solid though. Getting to roll a big ol d20 is always a good time

Thank you for your honest feedback :D

Excellent gameplay, I liked the game. The dice introduce an element of unpredictability, which greatly increases the interest in the process.

Developer

Appreciate it! This means a lot 🙏
