- A game featuring the story of to pony characters and pregnancy progression. Pregnancy content wise we have the pregnancy progression of one of the characters and the changes she goes though over time. In the end she gives birth and we have a cute scene with the family together. Gameplay is mostly focused around the story of the game with a clicker like minigame. Creativity wise we have unique drawn assets as well as a fun little clicker puzzle between scenes. Jam theme we have the progression of one of the pony characters over the course of the game.
- I respect the effort put into this.
- It took me some time to really formulate my thoughts on this game. There is a lot here that is most definitely not my cup of tea, and I was aware of this going into things, so I am decently sure that my opinions didn't taint my rating. This is a clicker - a quite functional one with proper progression, stages and everything, which I somehow didn't entirely expect. Sure, it is a little barebones, but it works well and I appreciated the clear division between stages. There is a certain kind of whiplash about a MLP pregnancy game talking about serious things like PPD in a legitimately educational tone while there is belly licking going on (Now there is a sentence I didn't expect I'd ever type, but that's the fun of game jams), but after recovering from the initial mental flashbang, I can say that I appreciate what the game does. Somehow, the one thing that upset me was the audacity of using a literal, named-as-such strawman - that was so bold that it eclipsed whatever biases I had had until that point. I understand the felt necessity, but it could have been handled with a little more tact.
