(disclosure: playing drunk)
I have Vampire Survivors. Bullets fly through walls, vampires(zombies) don't go through wall. I ran it on RTX5700Ti and
I assume I could hit them outside of visible area cause it got so lagging in the end so much that I could hear "bullet, bullet, bullet, bullet, bullet, bullet" when shooting.
When I got out, I was killed by air (or the stench of zombies) π§ββοΈ
I liked it though and the idea is worth exploring. Good job making it into browser playable.
Really sweet game, kill 735 Zombies! One nice addition would be a crossfade insteaed of the default mouse cursor :) WasnβT able to figure out what the box pickups are supposed to do.
a nice goofy game. the midi soundtack did put a smile on my face (no meta pun intended).
Good job :)
Wish there were upgrades, but cool game none the less
1004 zombies killed. Was kind of fun hoarding the zombies around, it does have potential so keep working and creating new stuff! also tell your florida friend that they did a good work
1468 zombies killed.
I gave it a few tries. The zombie sounds were funny. The gun sound was silly and a little annoying after a while. The size of the map was nice.
I was waiting to gain XP and unlock weapons but it never happened. Feels more like a twin-stick shooter than Vampire Survivors.
I think it has potential though - keep working on it!
I had to cut some features as it was my first time programming a game since GameMaker Studio 2 so a lot of Googling and troubleshooting.
Thanks for the feedback, Colin and I are planning to continue working on it! :)
I personnaly dislike those kind of games. Good luck with your entry thought
1108 zombies killed
the game started to slow down after like ~700 zombies. I am not sure if the browser is at fault or ...
The game UI could use some improvement, I have no idea what taking the crates does (if it does anything)
The frame drop affects the bullets and one has to stay quite far away from the zombies to die.
I really enjoyed the bullet sound tho it seems to no longer work after a while, probably because of the frame drop?
Still, its a nice game. Good job!
Thanks for the feedback. I will have to look more into the performance. I didn't get to test the web build much or for any other hardware than my own so its good to get helpful bug reports. :)
