Can there be mentions of things such as injury or death, or does "adult themes and content" serve as a blanket term covering just about anything you wouldn't tell a child? Thanks.

It may be more helpful to you to know why we put this rule in place, rather than what the rule explicitly does and does not allow, so please act in the spirit of the rule.

Our aim with this rule is to protect the judges and game developers of this jam from being exposed to overtly grotesque and sexual content. We want to keep this space a welcoming place to make and play games.

Mentions and non-graphic depictions of injury and death are allowed, but we don't want sexually charged content or overly graphic/aggressive content.
