I really love the art bro

Developer

thanks a lot!!!

The artwork looks stunning! (ツ)ノ

Personally, I feel that starting the user on the Scrapyard tab might make the navigation feel a bit more seamless.

Thanks so much for playing!

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing about which scene to put first xD It was a big dilemma until the very last minute haha. I’ll keep the feedback in mind, thanks a lot!

I really enjoyed this one. The art caught me on the submission page, I love the black and white hand drawn style. The gameplay was simple yet engaging. I completed all achievements, a nice touch by the way. Audio was lacking, maybe some background music or scrapyard sounds would make it more immersive. Otherwise this is a banger of a game. Well done.

Developer

Thank you so much for the feedback! I’m glad you liked it!

I’m going to try to improve the sound; I think it was the last thing I did, hehe. I’ll also incorporate some other tips I’ve received here to make it even better.

Thanks for playing!

The concept is a great idea. I suggest that race cooldown would be lower.

Thanks for playing and the feedback!!

Nice presentation (minimalistic, but consistent)

As the others mentioned the manual scap collection with cooldown is a bit annoying. However: its a good game!

Developer

Thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback :D will improve it

Nice little clicker, maybe with some UI improvement and more content (more races, more buffs in the clicker area) it would be nice.

IMO you should not add waiting time in the clicker area (to get scrap or to have paid buffs)

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much for playing and for the feedback!

My brother was saying the same thing about the wait time, I’ll try to look into it too. It can get kind of slow or boring until you get a buff.

I’ll probably improve it after the votes, hehe.

Thanks!

It's not bad. But click-and-wait games usually need to rely on other pillars besides gameplay. I feel like those pillars are missing :P

Developer

Thank you so much for playing and for the feedback!

I also feel like there are some things missing to complete the picture. Do you have any examples or anything you felt was missing as part of those pillars? It’s my first time as an idle gamer, and all feedback helps a lot :)

The best example of a game I can give you (and one of the main ones in the category) is Cookie Clicker. The main mechanic is clicking, however, the entire environment is constantly changing as you progress (designs, music, ways to advance, aesthetics, etc.). Because the game won't rely solely on gameplay; it depends on everything else. It's up to you how you implement it in your game. But you have plenty to work with (junk, car parts, and races). I hope this helps :)

Developer

This is very helpful! I have some ideas in mind, and I think your feedback can help me and they might fit together really well!

Thank you so much!

Little too quiet and the game didn't seem to offer much beyond clicking buttons and waiting. I was hoping I would actually get to race with the car but was disappointed that it was just more waiting.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!

The idea is to make it more than just buttons and have more interactive or visual feedback. While it’s a first prototype, I’ll take your comments to heart to improve it even further!

Thanks for playing!
