This Is My First Jam So I am Little bit confused that rankings in the jams depend how many people rate not on the quality of the game.

Same, my first game jam and my first game ever. Had no clue what I was doing, but really enjoyed the learning process. This was a lot of fun. I just am closing up my shop now, so going to go home and try to play/rate every game, except my own.

It's probably just everyone being tired from finishing up their final revisions on their projects, plus rating starting started in the middle of the week. If you look at the previous AI game jam, ranking was based on average score within each category, not number of people rating (for example there was a dual first place in the "overall" category with 4, and 7 ratings).

The rankings are not based on how many people vote. It is based on the average overall ranking. There are also rankings for each category. Check out the results from last jam...

I am going to get on tomorrow and concentrate on play others game and giving feedback and reviews. This is my first as well. I hope we all have fun! Honestly, I have been attempting to "market" my game organically and all my friends seem quite busy. It has been said that people are so negative that they have to say no 7 times before they can let themselves be swayed.
