Welcome to the Padmaniacs feature request thread! I’m a solo developer, so hearing your ideas directly is incredibly valuable.

What would you like to see in the game? New mechanics, power-ups, items or quality-of-life improvements? Please share your thoughts.

When suggesting a feature, please tell me:

What your idea is
How you think it would work
Why it would make the game better
Which platform you play on most

I read every suggestion and they genuinely help guide the game’s development. While I can’t promise to implement everything, the best ideas often come from players like you.

Can you add a setting where you can change keybind equivalents when it comes to controllers? Like on xbox, for example, A is up arrow and B is left arrow, instead of the other way around.

Hi! Swapped controls bug is already solved. Play Development Version to try it. Next version will include this fix Customizable touch controls and key bindings are TODO for next version

yo sigo usando beatx, es un app muy antiguo creo en el 2013. tengo un galaxy a16 pero lo malo que el almacenimiento esta lleno... sos muy complicado probar tu nuevo app. yo juego con mis simfiles ahi por el 2021 y 2025. Hehe. Otra cosa que para la proxima podrias añadir una funcion sobre carpetas? Porque cada vez puedo confundir o algo que puede crashear... lo contrario en los celulares

Please add an option to change the Snap in Chart Editor. I import stepmania songs and I can't edit it since the chart snap is 1/8. Please make it where I can move the notes freely etc, thx

Heads up, some StepMania charts I imported have 5 numberings (00000) than 4 (0000).

You can change snap by holding A + LEFT/RIGHT

One more thing: you can’t change the time signature or use gimmicks. And about that charts, if they have 5 places they’re probably Pump It Up charts, the game will just read the first 4 places and ignore the rest, same with doubles

Higher resolution is already locked in! I’ve just been holding off on the upload because I’m deep into polishing the character system—want to make sure it feels right before pushing the update.

In the meantime, you can absolutely jump into the live build and see how things are shaping up.

v1.1.0 is currently in the oven with:

Crispier pixel resolution + cleaner, more readable fonts (plus some experimental visual spice)
Way better mouse support
A new chart modifiers menu (hold START before the song starts)
And the usual bug-squashing, of course
