- The lighting in the game made it extremely difficult to see. Between that and the very slow MC, it was quite time consuming to play the game! Now I did like how easy the first enemies were to escape but it was impossible to manage the scythe woman. I also wish I could have saved at some points too so if I died, I didn't have to slog so far to get back to where I died.
- Overall I like the concept and creativity this game brings. In the past we have few 3D rendered games that feature pregnancy and I really like the idea of a dungeon crawler sort where you defeat enemies and grow as you get deeper into the dugneon. I like the play on the olympian theme as well, the story feeling like you are a person caught in conflict between two gods. As for the gameplay, at the moment it feels very basic. When playing I almost felt it was more of a stealth simulator, avoiding enemies since there was really no benefit to fighting them. The growth at the statues was cool but felt unrewarding in a way. Perhaps make it so either you grow as you defeat enemies and donate that energy to the statues or collect mana from enemies and have the statue grow you perhaps. The jam theme is present as your pregnancy progresses though the dungeon with the concept that the goddess's power grants you a boon which is neat. Overall a game which has some potential, also I really like the cutscene art too!
- I see this as very much a diamond in the rough and something I'd love to see further iterated on. It's a very novel concept and I enjoyed playing through it.
- I ain't afraid of no ghost. ...Is what I would say if I had managed to beat this deathless, which I didn't. I quite liked this game, though the rooms felt a little too expansive on average, especially at the start, without any upgrade to speed. The upgrades also felt slightly underwhelming, with no visible difference between base damage and the first upgrade; I ended up just taking all health and hoping it helped, because I wasn't sure how much health I even had! The visible growth was great to behold, and I really liked the art (even in sketch form) and the 3D modeling of the statues. Demeter has some sass, and I love that for her. The boss fight was the only time I died, because it feels like her attacks whiff sometimes and other times glue themselves to the player with uncanny precision, so dodging is questionably possible, when she feels generous. Over all, I quite enjoyed this! I'd suggest removing speed as an upgradable and instead starting the player off with a faster base speed, allowing them to choose to specialize into damage or health instead.

Awesome art! Awesome game!
Really happy to see another First Person action game in the jam this year, I really like the story and aesthetics of Bountiful Descent and I do find the ability to make a game like this in the Godot engine really impressive on a technical stand point. My only personal complain is the pacing of the game but that's mainly due to personal preference. I look forward to the cutscenes being finished in a future release and seeing this potentially turning into a series :)
thank youu! I do have plans to add a lot more to the game without the time restraints ^^
I can't find the download button
