(disclosure: playing drunk) I read the story, then I climbed a rocket, jumped into space, turned around and flew INTO THE STAR!!!
guess what? it made sound and crash and EVERYTHING! They thought about it all along!. Love it! ππ
Thats cool
Fantastic setting for the game. I loved the little bug-robot and his janky IK.
The cosmic creature was terrifying. I hate the fact that it blinks!
But I have a complaint.
I tried this game on the first voting day and failed to complete because it was too dark to go through the cave. Today my curiosity returned and I decided to try again and randomly found a flashlight near one of the tapes.
That key item should be more prominent.
Regardless, cool stuff!
This was super cool, I put my full thoughts in my video review attached. I did notice the game does not work with 2K monitors the UI doesn't scale correctly, and I did think the ending could have had more payoff; you know show don't just tell us. Still super cool, and I'm super impressed I definitely think you're ready to start releasing games on Steam imo.
Sorry my mic was a little loud in the play through and game audio was a little low.
Thanks for playing!
Yeah, you are the 3rd one who is struggling with UI. i havent properly anchored UI elements at time. The game is very-very rushed :)
And in my local version its already fixed, currently im working on post-jam version with fixes, new and reimangined content.
Ah, and your game is pretty cool, i really like amnesia, soma style of horror games!
Yoo, this game is super cool :) I love the crunchy, glitchy aesthetic, the feel of fyling around and the sounds/music. Such a stylish and well made game! I tried a couple of times but wasnβt able to really progress the story, but I might wanna come back at some point and try again. Just vibin in this space was already very enjoyable!
FYI: I have a 4k screen and thatβs my usual resolution - the gameβs start menu UI doesnβt seem to scale for that very well. The play button was outside of the viewport. I then changed my system resolution to 1080p and it worked.
Yeah, I havent properly anchored UI elements in the jam version. I apologize for that.
All known issues will be fixed in the post-jam version. along with new and reimagined content.
Very stylish game! I couldn't play much because it was lagging (probably my pc called potato), but I liked the visuals and the rocket-powered robotic spider.
my pc is kinda potato too ( 1080 TI, I3 12100F )
So i thought "if it works good for me, it should works good for everyone". what ur specs?
Mine is this:
Processor: Intel Core i5-3470
Video card: Intel HD Graphics 32MB
holy shit
lol
That was fun, looked great, and played amazingly. Really fun to have you in the chat and stoked on your next full game release on steam!!
Very stylish game, although i really didn't know what to do after getting the first battery? Was still a cool looking game with a cool bug creature, and the planets behaving like planets was the icing on the cake.
Really good job :)
This game is so well made!!! The physics are very impressive for a week-long-jam game. It's like a small love letter to Outer Wilds
Very good qualities to this game. I have some minor complaints but in general I liked it a lot. Good game feel, the look is awesome, the atmosphere is killer and cute bug mech. I thought the planets weren't supposed to move but I was impressed when they did, I least the main one I noticed the most. I didn't want to nosy but it did remind me a bit of outer wilds lol, glad to know it was an actual inspiration.
