Nice work! This is a really great survivors game! I really liked the walking animations, and i got to the point where there were a ton of enemies on the screen! I think it could be improved if there were more weapons to choose from, but I did find the weapons were introduced at a nice rate. Not really sure if that was on purpose or if it was random. The choices upon level-up were a nice touch, and everything was really smooth. I think just adding some unique mechanic to make it your own would be really cool, maybe something that fit the theme of machines a little better. I really appreciate that the boss was included at the end of the run! Great work! Keep it up!
Hye Parker. Thanks for playing. The theme always gets me, I get an idea in my head before the Jam starts and that's what I roll with. I agree I need to work on Theme implementation better in future Jams.
Weapon choices were weighted, with the intention of them being somewhat random options but the Axe/Hammer combo is regularly shown and proves to work well on large mobs.
The character movement felt genuinely satisfying — in a way that makes the chaos feel earned. The core loop is addictive. Sound fits the atmosphere well. Graphics have room to grow but the overall package is a fun, polished survivor-like.
Really enjoyed it — well done! ⚔️
Thank you Ace. Appreciate the feedback. I am always working with free assets so limited to what I can do, however I do have a fantastic asset pack and plan to convert the game to this new graphics upgrade.
Cute animation! The gameplay was also easy to understand, and I liked it! (ツ)ノ
(The longer I survived, the more my PC screamed lol)
Ah Tatta. This is a common theme. I think the Web Browser doesn't like the amount of enemies I was throwing at it....and to think I originally planned more!. Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for playing.
This is the kinda game I love! Really well done and a lot of fun. If only there was a health boost among the many upgrade ;) Great job!
Hey Eoinmcg. There was plans to make a health regeneration upgrade but I ultimately cut it to focus on more weapon options. I feel the game would benefit from some more health options, maybe a shield?
this is pretty cute and very very addictive, I wish I got more weapons to protect me around me, but it was pretty satisfying to get all enemies in a line and just throw daggers at dozens of them at the same time, when I died the screen was pretty packed and I wished that I could have survived longer. Of course a lot of the addiction factor comes from the survivors formula, but there is a lot of room to innovate in that area I think, this seems to be going towards a more cute kinda vibe, and perhaps in the future creating unique weapons and enemies can make this a very unique survivors game like mega bonk did. My defeat screenshot shows how much I was trying to make enemies line up to have my daggers satisfyingly destroy all of them in one hit lol.
Hey Happybats. Did you get the Axe or the Hammer in your run? Really OP area effect weapons once you level them up. Thanks for playing. The feedback is greatly appreciated.
I got the dagger, no idea the real name but I was calling it dagger and I felt it was an amazing gun for quite a while, I felt smart for being able to make all enemies kinda line up
Very good strats but if you wanted another swing at the game, other weapons are much more powerful. The dagger is a Low Tier item while the Axe with upgrades is High Tier.
ok trying that later today and focus on the Axe
Pretty nice. I like how you used the tileset for this entry.
At first I didn't understand what is happening and what is going on but then it clicked ;-)
I would love to see some kind of the indicator of exp between the levels (upgrades).
Hi Romualdk. Thank you for the feedback. There was a EXP bar at the bottom of the screen filling up for every level progression but this was not clear enough for you I see. I will make sure to keep it more prominent in future updates.
It's a great game!! Good job!!
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for playing.
Good job! I love this kind of games
Thank you Basurita.
Totally addictive! I love these games! I liked how you solved the animations without actually “animating” them. It took me a couple of tries to beat it, so it’s a good challenge :D
Thank you for stopping by Migue and giving it an honest try. I found the animations to be quite fun and goofy, giving it a light playfulness. It's not something I've done before so glad it paid off.
Nice vampire survivors clone!
Thank you Limbs. VS was my inspiration, glad it comes through. Hope you like it.
