Nice game! Love the art, and the UI looks great. After dying, I got stuck in a screen that said First Quest.

It seemed like interact doesn’t work. I couldn’t talk or pick up items.

Nice work! It looks really good but I honestly wasn't sure where to go or what to do. I did fight some enemies coming out of a portal and I had fun running around. I didn't seem to be able to interact.  Good work though, impressive looking in 48h and reading that your son helped out is awesome.

You can also use I for inventory, I will update that in the description.

There are issues with web build, TAB for inventory jumps to the next link on the web page and the page scroll down. But the game is fun, I like the sprites and music. Attack animation is cool. The game has potential and the result achieved in 48 hours is quite impressive!

The graphics are from OpenGameArt.org.  My son did most of the level design, working in Tiled.  It was pretty much just dropping lots of artwork into a decorations layer to add all the details.

Very impressed that you had time to do so much with the graphics. Feels fairly complete as a prototype, but the movement and combat feels like it needs just a bit more work

Great effort for a 48 hour jam! Keyboard controls need a bit of an overhual. Graphics realy well done, did you do them yourself?
