Good tuning on CPU. They handed my ass on a plate.

Love it! I think it could be more interesting with weapons being something that is affected by the gravity but also having an escape velocity. So when shot, it follows a predictable path but wouldn’t linger too much in the orbit.

Thank you! The bullets are actually affected by gravity, in order to make it more noticeable I would have to make bullets significantly slower, and that in turn would make them too slow to be perceived as projectiles. The balance was fairly tricky to find, but in some conditions you can make gravity maneuvers with them, and for some more interesting situations I turned off the destruction of bullets by the sun.

Interesting use of the star gravity mechanic. Fun and engaging game play. Good work!

I enjoyed it as an old Star Control II fan this hit the right vibes. Was struggling to figure out if the slow turn speed was best or if a bit more turn control would add to the experience. Found it hard to evade and use gravity pulls. Great core and nice work!

Thank you very much! I have never played Star Control tbh. The controls are meant to be somewhat hard, the main one being control of energy rather than turning. Glad that you liked it!

Star Control II was a hugely influential game and there is a legally ok open source version here: The Ur-Quan Masters - Downloads
The Toys for Bob guys went from this to creating the whole Skylanders phenomenon so they are a good team to learn from.
