This is quite experimental, which I find interesting. There are some creative ideas here, and I like how unique the track is. It’s an unusual but enjoyable listen :)

Cool idea and approach, I can hear the melody, I js dont think its really an impactful one. Still good submission!

I do like the sfx focused approach you took, helps telling a story a lot. However I feel like the focus on the melody isn't present, and while there is development, the ostinato stays constant which does miss the point of a melody focused jam in my opinion.

Melody clarity 2/5

Melody impact 1/5

Composition 3/5

Listenability 2/5 (Apart from the melody, I think the mix can be loud at times, some samples feel out of places and the chord progression doesn't really fit with the tone the sound design's trying to convey)

Correlation to theme 3/5 (I have to give credits to the way you managed to emulate the environment of the forge with the samples, which is great)

Very strange... Doesn't sound like music... Instead, it sounds like a story being told by SFX, which is very interesting.

The lead line you have repeating is nice, but it feels more like a ostinato than a melody since its just the same shot figure repeating.

Adding a second part to it that would maybe rise towards the end to contrast the previous downwards curve could maybe help make it feel less of a ostinato and then from there you could change stuff on repeats to make it feel more developing.

Still, good work!

It's a little too experimental for the theme and the incredibly present low end makes the middle to end portion of the track a little harsh.

It's not bad by any means but it feels like a lot of concepts for not spread wide enough within the 2 minutes.
