Description
Some world building:
In the primordial days, there existed an unseen force that flowed through ocean and sky, binding the world in an eternal rhythm. The sages called it ki. Beneath Dhavalagiri, the radiant White Mountain, lies the origin of all ki—from which strength, will, and spirit are born. “Go to the White Mountain”, as the elders speak, “and seek yourselves”. Yet those who journeyed to claim the legendary power were dissolved into the endless white, and were never seen again.

I like the overall mood of the track, with a nice balance between brighter and darker elements. It feels very airy and immersive, and it comes together really nicely :)

Love this track a lot! What're you using for the instruments? I usually go with EastWest's RA, Silk, and I've been liking Baklava Sounds too. Very clean submission overall, and gives me the 'discovering the weapon' vibe overall. I like creative approaches like this, where I can't predict the instruments and composition from the start. If the Uniqueness category were here, I'd give it a 5/5 in that category.

Most of the sounds I used are from Komplete Etheral Earth. I thought that Etheral Earth and some Omnisphere libraries would perform perfectly on ethnic and atmospheric themes.

Personally would've had the melodic instruments like the santur a bit louder in the mix as they felt a bit under the percussion and pads at parts.

The choir pad with the percussion and the piano sequence gave me a lot off same vibes as the music from Final Fantasy 10, not sure if you're a fan of Masashi Hamauzu but you managed to evoke a lot the same ambiance they did in that, just a really cool atmosphere all around.

Good work!

I do love Hamauzu’s work from FF13 and Saga Frontier 2. His style seems pretty unique among those composers in Square :)

Loved the ethnic sounds mixed with electronic stuff ! Kinda felt like a wise sultan in its quest, you nailed the storytelling and ambient part. I do want to know how I can recreate these sounds.

The main downsides are that this track definitely lacks development in my opinion, and that the melody doesn't seem to be its focus, which inevitably biases the rating besides its great production.

Melody clarity 4/5

Melody Impact 3/5

Composition 4/5 (lacks development, some harmony is janky sometimes)

Listenability 5/5

Correlation to theme 4/5

I really like how Ethnic this soundtrack sounds... Also, the Textures are awesome! I'd totally try to make something like this in my free time.

This has made me form a very good first impression of your music for sure. This song is sick, dude. Percussion is really nice, I love those ambient pads, and that low choir, all the instrument choice here is really solid, and that melody is extremely cool, especially with that flute counter-melody on top. Well done Boss! I'm very impressed! :D
