Moving the vase was tricky to get the hang of, it's a neat mechanic that's well executed! Really like the art/sound as well.

I had a resolution issue where the game only took up the top left quarter of the screen, but I think that's just a me problem.

its the dark souls of water jars games

Really liked the 'cutscenes' throughout, they were really smooth! Also think the music and sfx were well implemented. The vase went a bit crazy for me at the end and fell through the screen. Cool game and concept!

Thanks for trying it out!

The sound design is awesome!! well done! Excellent use of the limitation, I knew about Hyades and it was nicely done. The physics of the jar and well as the flower’s animation are especially great! Very cool entry <3

Had the issue as well about that watering sound playing on repeat on the ending screen! Not sure it’s always happening, but it’s funny indeed and not at all an hindrance to the experience :D

Hehe, it's part of a bug I noticed and left in on purpose, because if you get the vase in just the right position as you win, there's a funny result around the time when "The End" has faded out.

Thanks for trying out the game!

I am amazed by how smooth the growing animation(?) is. Very satisfying to see it get taller and taller. The movement is a bit clunky but I think that's also the charm of the game. At the end the vase kind of scared me since it dropped out of nowhere while looking at the planet, I think it should unload when finished. I like the cutscenes telling a short heart warming  (or breaking) story.
Very nice.

Sweet you found the bug easter egg at the end!  That wont happen every time, but when it happened while I was testing, I HAD to leave it in.  It was too funny.  It's actually trivially easy to fix, but my heart wouldn't let me do it.  :P

That growing animation is a texture in a Line2D with its points animated with keyframes in an AnimationPlayer, in case you're curious.

I intentionally built this version to use the page as its load/unload this time around.  You can always hit escape to jump back to the starting screen at any time.  Cheers.

Nice concept! It hard to control bucket but art work is very good and lore friendly.

Ah, I see you found my hidden narrative there.  haha

If you play again to "The End", let me know if the special easter egg (bug I left in because it's funny) happens.

Thanks for trying it out!
