Theme
The theme was "running out of time" so I think time traveling, which is what my game revolves around, implements the jam's theme well, along with the mystery of the cause of the Anomaly.

Oh I just realized we forgot to leave a comment here. Members of our team (Aya, Zero) played this on call and I really liked what we played~ sadly we did not finish as the second puzzle completely stumped us LOL. Really good job for a solo dev!!!

Hello!
Thank you for your comment!!
I'm so happy you liked it! For the second puzzle, it has something to do with Code Ceasar (I believe I left some hints when you reach 3, 5 or 7 tries, did you get them?)
I might just post hints for this second puzzle because NO ONE got it ≡(▔﹏▔)≡

I think we are just bad at cyphers... we tried code ceaser stuff but we must've done it wrong!

I posted explanations in the game's development log, if you'd like to check them out! (*^_^*)

I might be stupid but I can't get past all the puzzles so I'm just rating the game with what I've seen so far; I like the point and click features and the concept of investigating different time periods is cool! Hopefully I'll be able to experience the rest of it eventually.
Hello Alto6852,
Thank you for your feedback!
I’m happy to hear that you liked the concept of the game. ٩( 'ω' )و
As for the puzzles, I believe I have left some hints when you try a couple of times, did you see them? If not, I’m sorry. Can I help you with anything?

That puzzle was incredibly obnoxious. First of all, you put some of the letters in optional dialogues. For example, in the first controllable scene I was asked to determine who Sally is in this scenario. I immediately clicked on the dresser, which let her use the mirrors to get a look at herself. But by being smart about it, I denied myself the opportunity to check the bed which gives the Y. No matter how much I looked back and forth through the history section, I couldn't hope to solve the puzzle because my history was missing a bunch of letters. And the plot seems to imply that Sally should try to solve everything quickly so that she doesn't rack up as much sleep debt. Second, proper nouns. Early on someone mentions an "Anomaly". This isn't a word that people usually capitalize, and elsewhere people talk about "anomalies" (no capital), but as far as I can tell it is not supposed to be part of the puzzle. A bit later, someone mentions a "Warp". This word seems just as likely as Anomaly to be something that this particular organization would use as a proper noun unlike normal people, but as far as I can tell I am supposed to be including this W in the sentence. Third, sometimes after two or three consecutive periods you capitalize the next word, and other times you don't. I didn't see a spot where I concluded that I was supposed to count it, but I can't be sure because it combines with all the other uncertainty.
By the way, Sally is told that she will be warping to the XVIIth century, but on arriving she declares that she knows she is in the XVIth century.
Hello Haaretram,
Thank you for the feedback!
I am sorry that you found my game unpleasant, and I'd like to adress some of your points.
1. The letters in the optional dialogues:
While I was developping the game, I thought that including every capital letter in the main story was too straightforward, and that it would lose the "research and solve a mystery" factor. Moreover, I thought that even without some letters, the words were still easily guessable. In the end, where you have to input the sentence, even if you get it wrong, there is still the hint part, where you have to reorganize the letters.
I didn't want to rush the player, thus I made sure that there wasn't a timer so you could properly search the rooms, and find everything you needed. At the end, it always displayed the same amount of negative time flow (-80).
2. Proper nouns:
Early in the game, Sally (if I remember correctly) mentions an "Anomaly". It was meant to talk about the bigger issue that provokes all the anomalies, no capital. As for the warp, sorry to have caused confusion, the 'W' was meant to be included in the sentence and not as a proper noun (I thought I made sure that there were no letter that should be included in the beginning of a word, to not cause confusion, but it appears I haven't checked that carefully).
I did not understand your third point, would you care to elaborate more on that, please? I would appreciate that.
Overall, I am truly sorry that you have found playing my game a bad experience. I will take into account your feedback to improve, and hopefully make this game a pleasant experience that people can enjoy.
(If anything I said was unclear, feel free to reply.)

P.S: thanks for pointing out the typo, i'll correct that. :-)
