Your art work was amazing! Yall's game is amazing! It took me a bit but I figured out the ui, but when I did everything was simple and straight forward and fun. There was crinkling in the noise of the... campfire I think? I think a few different songs would add a lot to the game.
Finding the constellations in the sky with the book to help is such a cool mechanic. You did an amazing job in such a short time frame! If you were to expand on the game, I’d love to see more dialogue between the characters and the stories behind each constellation!
Thank you very much for playing our game! The grind was real haha. And honestly thank you for liking it so much that you want to see an expansion!
This is incredible well made for a Game jam! The fact that you guys even created a backstory for the characters, how intuitive feels the game that needs no explanation, how unique it looks...
Also the artstyle is amazing!
Thanks so much!!! We really wanted to make sure the characters were solid before we pursued anything else.
Also I was blessed with an incredibly talented artist, that definitely helps things...
love that game the art is very very nice i love it gg
Yayyy so glad you liked it!! <3
Really nice to play through, the art is soo good! Also super impressed with the UI and how polished it feels for the time we had. Really nice work!
We really did cram... pygame is a cruel mistress...
Super sweet game and idea! I loved the characters, art and storytelling!
Hahah thanks a lot! We love our two goofy guys
Genuinely amazing, you managed to do all of this for the jam! Heartfelt story, and I felt like I learned constellations. Lyra was hard to find! Writing was really good
Lyra is definitely the hardest one to find! Thanks for playing! <3
I tried. I tried my best. I could not for the life of me find draco. After wasting an hour I finally did, atleast I think I did. But I could not figure out the pattern. I swear they're so cramped you don't even know what stars to connect. First 15 minutes were relaxed. The rest was a horrible nightmare. I never wanna hear the sound of that campfire again. Horrible game, terrible experience, 5 stars.
(I loved it man the dialogue is so genuine)
Thanks for playing our game!!
Worry not!! Draco is no more! (South Carolina is gone) I've replaced it with Vela (a much more forgiving constellation to trace) as well as made the numbers more sparse and in a smaller font size. Hope this helps!
Thanks I really do hope you win this jam
This was genuinely one of my favorite jam games I’ve played 😭 The art, the atmosphere, the gameplay and the storytelling all come together so well !
Honestly just amazing work all around :)
Thank you so much for playing!!! it means the WORLD to us that you enjoyed it. We poured our heart and soul into these two animals.
Beautiful game, loved the art and the storytelling, nice work!
Thank you so much for playing!
That's a really pretty game, and I like the storytelling. I really like the idea of the book and finding the constellations on the map, and the coordinate system is pretty fun!
Thanks!! Love to hear that all the astronomy maths we had to do didn't go to waste... <3
Well done. It’s a beautiful game, I really enjoyed it <3 Having a bit of storytelling in between each constellation chase is a good idea, it made me want to know what was the next part <3 It’s a lot of work you did here!
Thanks so much!! So glad you enjoyed it <3 :)
Little nugget of insight for you: The starry sky you see through the telescope is procedurally generated with pygame! It's unique every time you play it!
