I like how multi-purpose the two forms and their abilities can get as you progress through the game. One minute I’m using the small form to dodge waves of bullets, and next I’m using it to quickly ambush enemies with a strong spiral attack. I didn’t really use the bombs all that often, though, as the main weapon and small form seemed to be enough for me. But even so, the rogue-like elements were implemented pretty well!

The game was fun! The shrinking mechanic worked really well with the game, and I found a lot of synergys with the upgrades. Nice job :D
I well earned my freedom out of the totally ethical experiment.
It was fun, after reading the description I thought I would bruteforce my way in big form but ended up having a lot of fun switching between the two modes. In the very beginning I kept dashing into the middle of the enemies because I wanted to shoot then quickly got used to the controls and ended up somewhat ridiculing the bosses by switching at the right moment, it was cool. It's great that you can't shoot while you're small. My spread of bullets when getting big again was particularly satisfying. The presentation fits pretty well together and I ended with only a little bit of health so the difficulty was appropriate for me.
Thanks for sharing!
Fun and addictive. The soundtrack and the effects — both audio and visual — create a great atmosphere. The way the enemy death sounds blend into the music is a really nice touch. I ended up using the shrink form more to let bullets pass through than for movement, especially with the Big Barrel (it has a slight delay before it starts firing, but I ended up incorporating that into my playstyle). It worked really well for me — great game.
Playing on a mac with trackpad was horrible haha. Wished for different controls. Cool visuals and effects.
Didnt find switching to small mode useful at all as the large one is still small enough to dodge between bullets and can shot.
Really impressively tight experience! it looks great, plays great too!
I'd say the design has some elements that feel sticky, since i can only shoot while big and enemies all exclusively shoot these huge sweeping bullet patterns i was never incentivized to approach them, it was always better to just shoot at the red arrow off the screen, the bomb also felt very lack luster. I went with a 'shoot a spray of bullets when you grow back to big strategy' and that felt fun and engaging, tho after the spray my gun glitches out for a bit, which i think actually balances well but it would be nice to know ahead of time when picking that up.
I think you have something here! and it's really well polished, i wanna play more! c:
That was really fun i really enjoyed when i played. Congrats !
Visuals and audios really fits with game and gameplay (upgrades, mechanics etc. ) works really well.
During my run i get some bugs like after i get skill that i fire spiral projectile after my dash (i guess something with name was a "barrel") my fire broke somehow. Sometimes my normal projectiles not cast only sfxs was worked for that projectile.
Any somehow my character rotation is not worked after wave 8. I actually can turn around my self but visually i was not.
Maybe switch button can be [Space] rather than [Shift] i think that was more easier.
Enemies can be different for example spiral and circular attack enemies was same it can be good.
And some feedbacks can be improve such as enemies death or some vfxs but that things are really small things I`m just saying what i feel missing during my gameplay
Overall i really like its simple and works really well that was really solid entry !
The problem with bullets was a band-aid fix made due to bullet fury causing issues in web builds, but the rotation bug is a new one we haven't encountered yet do you know if it was after an ability or any way to replicate it, i will try to fix it.
Thanks for the other suggestions and i will look into it and try to put them in.
Incredible cyberpunk shooter adventure :o
I really had a blast with this one, the presentation is absolutely stellar with that crt monitor effect, and i really like how you imediately immerse the player into the world with the corporate terminal describing your situation (also love the small bits of humor taking jabs at corporations like “anything you find or make within the simulation is the property of CyberGen” and all that jazz)
The shapeshifing mechanic is quite original, and i like how each form has a dedicated role, Big to attack, and small to manoeuvre and dodge. The rogue like-ish (and totally OSHA regulation compliant :p) upgrades are also really cool and i like how OP you can end up making yourself.
The only issue i had was that for some weird reason from time to time the ship stopped firing and i had to reclick to shoot again, like the game lost my input for a sec or something :/
Othar than that small hiccup i had no real issue and had a great time, managed to finish this in about 11 min or so and entered my name to the leaderboards :p
Well done on a solid entry !
Nice variety of skills to choose from, and they all felt good to use. I really liked the chained lightning ones. It was also cool how some skills had extra upgrades available after you picked them up, like increasing the number of enemies chained by the lightning. I liked the big barrel one a lot too, it was highly effective lol. The small form jump ability was also a really awesome move in general, and made dodging feel more active.
This was fun and somehow very tranquil to play. The chill music worked well, and the sound was balanced nicely, with the bullet sounds being easy on the ears. The enemy death indicator was also really helpful to hear, especially since I was shooting a lot of them off-screen.
Very nice addition with the off-screen marker pointing to the nearest enemy too. It helped immensely. I managed to nab 2nd on the leaderboard, so I'm super proud of myself lol.
