https://newmemberdeveloper.itch.io/operation-yomin i hope make feedback on sound style and mechanics

It still needs quite a bit of work, but I understand these are your early days. It’s very colorful, and the sense of speed is also really good. Overall, I really liked it a lot.

If you wanted the gameplay to feel more like an aircraft, you might want to look into physics, especially applying forces through torques, and also learning how to interpolate vectors. Simulating aircraft properly is actually quite complex when you’re starting out.

It could also help to pull the camera further away from the aircraft to improve perception of the environment and spatial awareness.

That said, you already have functional enemies, you’re using post-processing effects, I’m not very familiar with Unity, but I assume you’re working with deferred rendering and lighting techniques that look really good, and an endless level system.

Overall, a very solid first project.

I  do understand that aircraft simulation is extremely basic so I was working on a more natural wing design and animation

Hope I'm not too critical, i'm not trying to be.

  • no fullscreen button, had to zoom in with the browser.
  • When I started I was confused why nothing is happening. I apprently lost already I didn't notice when I was getting into the game.
  • It was confusing what I was doing until I read the description.
  • no HUD, need information like lifebar.
  • The ship takes up a huge amount of screen space, it's hard to see anything else.
  • sometimes I can't shoot and I don't know why.
  • I'm not sure why you can fly up [W]
  • the camera is just attached to the player, a more dynamic movement will help bring the game alive.
  • There is no apperant end goal or what i'm working towards.
  • The art is interesting :D

thanks for being critical that is what is needed with a prototype and those will be read carefully in the next update

and the W button was made because there about to be flying enemies

and the times you can't shoot is due to the ammo I didn't label it clearly do to scaling problem I will d an explaination before the game even starts

and I will make the description a little bit shorter
