Use of the limitation
Built on Norse Ragnarök — you play Mjölnir, defending Midgard against the omens of the world's end. The win condition is the actual Norse posture: you don't stop Ragnarök, you only hold it back, one week at a time.

I played the game, cool! I beat it too

I also based my game on Ragnarök , the thumbnail made me think this was some ai slop but this is actually super fun good job

The Cover is 90% AI slop and 10% editing from my side or something like that. I dont know - I like it... maybe if I would be a better illustrator I could do it myself -> Evidence: The ingame sprites are made by me xD (Asesprite). I am very happy that you like it.

So far in this jam, in terms of gameplay I had the most fun. Pretty cool game, I like it. 👍

Thank you very much, glad you liked it. I am thinking about expanding on it, what would you like to see?

You must be kidding, man. This game is a thousand times better than I expected. I think it will rank very high; it's genuinely enjoyable.

Thank you very much! I wanted to include more abilities and stuff but was not able to because of the limited time... what would you like to see if I keep on working on the game?

It has a nice arcade feel to it and your pixel art is neat!

Developer

Thank you, I am pretty new to pixelart - I usually make 3d games. So this is a huge compliment for me. ❤️

Good. 3-way shoot is op lol

Yes, but I didn't want it to be to hard to beat, on my last gamejam only one tester could beat my highscore (I had an online leader board) Thank you for playing ❤️

Super cool, can't rate as I didn't participate, but pretty fun and I can see it being expanded on. The only thing was the controls were a bit difficult. I think Right should be clockwise and left counter-clockwise instead of the way it is. Another option would be having the hammer rotate to point towards the mouse, and left click to shoot, but that might trivialize the difficulty. Overall great job!

Developer

Yes you need to get used to it. It was actually me thinking wrong when coding... But I left it in because I got used to it while testing, then forgot it. Lol. When I expand the game I will include a settings menu. I thought about mouse aim but I wanted to keep it as simple as possible. I always try to make the game as simple as a super Nintendo or Gameboy game in terms of controls. Thank you for playing!
