List up to three theme ideas here.

Since themes are optional, you should choose specific and evocative themes.

“(Anti)memetic Threat” may be a good way to phrase the last one.

(+1)

good call, thanks

(+2)
  • The enemy of my enemy is my friend
  • Focuses ancient magic over weird science
  • Espionage/International/Globehopping campaign
(+3)
  • Use a ritual from the Handler's Guide, as written, in an interesting way (or each scenario spotlights a different ritual)
  • "This conspiracy goes all the way to the top"
  • Each scenario focuses on a bit player/minor faction from the previous scenario
(+1)

•Extradimensional Adventuring

•The Enemy Within

•PISCES

Went more specific than usual, since they're entirely optional...

Racking Up the Miles, eg. lots of travel involved, or locations are scattered nationwide. Maybe it's a road trip. Maybe they have to catch a lot of flights to get to each scenario. Could be a cruise. Maybe they have to hurry up and wait for their connections and fight off boredom and the feeling that they're wasting time while the threat is getting worse. Call their Bonds, make excuses, call their Handler, make excuses...

Everything Gets Worse, aka. Descent Into Hell. The problem is growing. The Agents can see its symptoms worsening around them. Things are falling apart. Each scenario is more desperate than the last.

Slaughter - ie. Agents or the opposition make a whole lot of kills, personally. Not a big explosion or a gas leak or some other mass-casualty events. Killing, lots of it. Maybe a serial killer, mass-shooter, armed robbery gone wrong, a raid where everyone just starts blasting, a big firefight, unnatural entity attack on a crowded location, or some other cause.

Brokenimage321’s suggestions:

  • A pre-WW1 historical setting (Gaslight London, Imperial China, Wild-West USA)
  • A crossover with an existing supernatural investigation team from another franchise. How would the stars of The X-Files, Supernatural, Rivers of London, Gravity Falls, or Scooby-Doo fare in the world of Delta Green–or vice-versa?
Submitted(+2)
  • Agents learn magic they might actually use (or have to use)
  • [Noun]'s haunted
  • Tying up loose ends

DM_Massimiliano’s suggestions:

  • Ad Astra: first Mars landing, NASA, astrology, etc. - a la ‘BLACKSAT’ or ‘Operation Minoan Augur’ or ‘The Martian’ w/Sneeple
  • One location (like a one-room play): a house, or a cave complex, etc.
